Last night my wife and I went to have dinner. The food was absolutley delicious, and the service was outstanding. The prices were extremely reasonable, considering the quality of the food. This is a hidden Gem. Nice cozy and quiet atmosphere. Small place but spaced out enough where you are not on top of the other guests. Shawn and Nicole have done an excellent job. The vibe is friendly. The service is spot on. The food is delicious. It's a restaurant in a train station at Short Hills but it feels like being welcomed into somebody's home who also has a bad ass restaurant in it as well. Had a great dinner here. The chicken wings were very crispy and crunchy! I also loved the cauliflower appetizer! The Truffle Mushroom Ravioli are a must try for your meal! Food is solid at Boxcar, I will definitely be back soon!
