There should be a million stars for this bistro!!!! When this bistro opened about 4 years ago with new owners I gave it a try for some Thanksgiving side dishes. I am a restaurant manager and have been in the food service industry over 40 years and I have to say this gem takes the cake!!!! The food is always fresh and of such great quality. I am picky because no one cooks Thanksgiving as good as my own ( lol) but Jennifer put me to shame. It is so nice to know especially on Holidays working late night hours I no longer have to worry about staying up all night. The salads and sandwiches are amazing for everyday and het homemade desserts are literally to die for!!!! I love that she also offers gluten free desserts in her online holiday menu and in house. Everyone is always so nice too!! The bistro must stay there forever lol

Nice little place. Menu had some different things on it then other places. I had a chicken sandwich with brie, cooked onions and a raspberry jam on a nice crusty roll that was delicious. The place itself is cool. Has some nice old pictures of the area. Glad I finally stopped and tried it

The pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel is pretty much perfect. Friendly service. Coffee is stellar, medium bodied with bold, fruity notes.

Blawenburg Bistro is an absolute gem! Nestled in a cozy, small-town setting, it offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. I especially loved the chicken pesto sandwich—perfectly grilled and packed with deliciousness—and the avocado toast, which was hands-down the best I’ve had anywhere.

Their menu features a great variety of sandwiches, salads, and breakfast options, all reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, smiling, and genuinely attentive, adding to the pleasant vibe of the place. Spent a lovely afternoon here and can’t wait to return!

Blawenburg Bistro provided catering for my wedding. Everything was phenomenal! Jennifer ensured we had everything we wanted for our special day, including a two tier customized wedding cake that was out of this world, and several food choices. Many guests commented on how delicious the food was, and someone told me that this was the best wedding cake they ever had. Jennifer made the whole process easy and was communicative and responsive. The service that evening was also fantastic. I would definitely recommend Blawenburg Bistro for anyone looking for catering for a special event!

Found this delightful eatery through Google reviews and am so glad we chose to dine there! Sweet atmosphere and delicious meal! Had avocado toast with 2 fried eggs. It was both yummy and easy to eat!

A nice perk was its proximity to Skillman Park where we walked in the beautiful autumn afternoon.

I honestly don’t understand the negative review someone left here — my experience at this bistro has been nothing short of outstanding every time. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine warmth from both the staff and the owner, who clearly cares about creating a welcoming atmosphere. Service is attentive without ever feeling rushed, and you can tell they take pride in what they do.

The food is consistently excellent — fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. It’s the kind of menu where you can tell thought and care go into every dish.

This bistro is a real gem, and it deserves to be recognized as such. If you’re hesitating because of a single negative comment, don’t! ….go experience it for yourself. You’ll see why so many of us keep coming back.

We drive 30 minutes to treat ourselves to this experience; the food never disappoints and the impeccable service is noteworthy! The ham sandwich is absolutely delightful.

Extremely rude wait staff. Had 30 minutes to eat and it took 40 to come out and when I asked for a box 3 times they refused to give me the food. Mediocre food.

This is a very unassuming and quaint place. Perfect for brunch. Their egg sandwich on a biscuit with homemade sausage is incredibly delicious!
