This is a fantastic spot with incredible Mexican food that is a nice departure from the standard vanilla bar fare that most places serve. They have regular bar fare, too, but specifically the Mexican food makes it worth a visit alone. Great atmosphere, cold draft beers, fantastic food — will most definitely be back.
I spend my summers in Somers Point and am at Carolines everyday of the weekend. Have always had a great time except when we are in one male bartenders section who is constantly in a terrible mood. Went in during lunch time and politely asked if he could switch one of the tv channels when he has a free moment. Went there with six other ladies and I have to say the service was wonderful. They made sure that everyone had what they wanted and made sure that everyone was happy. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was had music but it wasn't too loud. It was great. Definitely going to be one of my favorite spots.
