July 26th with Eileen as our server was great. Flavorful seafood with generous portions and the honey glazed salmon and chicken tenders kids meals were a hit with our kids. Their oysters were also fresh and a great deal compared to other restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend.
This is in reference to their Crabby Jacks outdoor setup. Ambience is great. Manhattan Clam Chowder was very good. Crab puffs good. Wait staff hustled, but there were too few of them. Crab Cake sandwich was mediocre at best - at least half filler with an afterthought of a piece of lettuce and tomato slice. Institutional grade tartar & cocktail sauces - I would expect better from an above-average priced seafood establishment. Potato salad side was bland and fairly tasteless....
I mean what else can you say about the Crab Trap? They are the best from A to Z! We live an hour away and love to treat ourselves whenever in the area. If I could give them 5 Stars, I would! A trip to Ocean City last week and took some out of state friends there and they were equally impressed. The Crab Trap made me look very good on the recommendation to our friends!
