The food is very good for a diner. We had scallops, beef tips, a wrap, shrimp cocktail, french onion soup and a pasta dish. All were good and portions are large. Service was a little slow and had two different servers but the restaurant was busy. Menu is large and there is plenty of parking. There was also a small bar area with seating.
I had the best open face reuben sandwich I ever had in Somers Point from Windjammer today. They use Corned Beef brisket, NOT Corned Beef round. The rye bread was delicious and they make great sliver cut steakhouse fries. This is a must have if you like reubens!
The service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious. They offer lots of menu choices and daily specials. The Thursday special is chicken pot pie. I had it tonight and I loved it! My son always gets the chicken tortellini dish and loves it every time. The portions are large, we almost always take something home. We plan to continue to be regular customers.
