today was my first visit and i was warmly welcomed. called ahead of time and my order was already in process when i arrived shortly after.the 1/2 doz steamed male crabs were beautifully cleaned and taste sooooo sweet !definitely a forever customer. see you next week !! congratulations on 40 years !

We were traveling to New Jersey from Ohio.I wanted some great seafood to bring back.I am extremely happy that I found Archer Seafood.The owner was amazing we walked in and felt right at home.He told of a great place to eat while we waited for our crabs to be done.we got oysters, clams, flounder and of course Blue crabs, which he steamed for.If I am ever back there I will definitely stop in.I highly recommend Archer Seafood.we are from Akron Ohio.

Not only is the fish fresh, they take their customers wants and needs above any expectations I’ve ever seen. Pricing is reasonable and the quality of the products are worth every penny. FOUND THIS PLACE ON THE INTERNET. I WAS A LITTLE HESITANT SINCE IT WAS OVER 30 MINS FROM ME BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! THE CLAMS WERE PHENOMENAL, THE SCALLOPS DELICIOUS AND THE SHRIMP AMAZING. EVERYTHING WAS VERY FRESH AND THE HELP THERE WERE WONDERFUL AND HELPFUL. WE HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING THE CEO AND OWNER AND HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE JUST OUTSTANDING. HE WELCOMED US LIKE HE KNEW US FOREVER AND OFFERED UP MANY GREAT SUGGESTIONS FOR SOME OF THE SEAFOOD. HE NOT ONLY SHOOK OUR HAND AND WAS A HAPPY SOUL BUT HE THANKED US FOR COMING ALL THE WAY IN WITH SOME EXTRA CLAMS! I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY OUR EXPERIENCE AND WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! I placed an order for my annual crab fest 3 or 4 weeks before our event, knowing it's a busy time of year. Mike called the day before and let me know he had some fresh caught blue crab I could take a day early if I wanted. I was worried I might not be able to keep most alive, and he wasn't sure if he'd have much the next day due to incoming storms. I told him I'd take the risk and take them early so he could serve as many customers as possible the following day.He told me it was great that I respected him and his business, and for being thoughtful since most people are not. He said he'd take care of me with the first call the next day instead, and he delivered.We had GREAT fresh blue crabs and all our friends/family (including some from MD!) loved them. This is my second crab fest and I will continue getting these annually.Bottom line - being considerate of others running a business pays dividends and this place delivers on both the product and on being awesome people by showing such respect. 5 stars is not enough. Go here.
