I've tried this place twice and more than anything, I just want to go back in the kitchen and help them. I keep trying the Mac n cheese. But it is not good, at all. It's like, noodles and Shredded cheese that is barely melted. The fried shrimp are good, if you enjoy lightly seasoned food. They're well fried but the breading needs more seasoning. The wings aren't bad, but I wish they sold a breaded wing, like homestyle fried chicken instead of a Buffalo wing in sauce. They're fried to my liking, but they're lacking in seasoning and flavor, the sauce does not make up for it. The fish wasn't bad! That was some good ol fried whiting. But honestly, it just need a pinch more seasoning. And the fries...there are better fries out there. The yams aren't bad, the greens need some work, but it has potential. I would get the shrimp or the fish again. The customer service is good, the pricing for the lunch specials is clutch, and I really like that they serve cocktail sauce lol which is hard to find at a lot of places.

Is amazing the effect a fresh piece of bread can have on a dish, well this was not the case.
The cheesesteaks i order had a old hot dog looking bun that when you bite into it it stay stuck to the roof of your mouth and just ruin the little flavor the meat had, but that’s my five cents on my first time ordering from here.

The food is not the same as it was 2 years ago. The mac and cheese is runny. It doesn't taste good at all. Some of the food tastes overly salty. The cornbread doesn't taste as good either.

My food was delicious. I ordered wings, collards, mac & cheese with cornbread. The restaurant was very clean and they were pleasant! I highly recommend this restaurant!

I places and on order using uber eats on 4/29.... for a whiting sandwich and a catfish platter spent 60 bucks... my order was canceled....I liked the menu so I tried again on 4/30 for breakfast the app shows they open at 9am ..... so I placed my order spent another 50 for breakfast it shows they are working on my order then at 830 I get a call stating they dont open until 1030 for breakfast and do I want to change the time or just cancel....I clearly told her I would wait until 1030... as I speaking with uber eats to change the time she canceled my order 2 times in 2 days and over 100 being held on my card and no food.....they won't get a 3rd time

We ordered two BBQ beef rib dinners . The portion of ribs for $40.00 each was disappointing. They were thinly cut and looked like scrapes. Basically bones with sauce. We spent a total of $109.00. My husband called back and left a message for the owner to kindly return his phone call, but he never did.

Never disappointed when I order from this establishment. It's a bit pricey but u get your money's worth every time. Tried a seafood hoagie and whatever that sauce was, it was the perfect complement!!

I placed two orders on DoorDash one with 10 wings the other order was the six wing two sides entrée. I asked for one side of mac & cheese, and the other side was the seafood rice they sent over plain yellow rice that was cold, also cold flavorless mac & cheese, and overcooked wings. When I called the place, I explained to them that I requested the seafood rice as one of my sides and they told me that DoorDash should not have advertised the seafood rice as one of the sides which I also told her that’s not my fault that’s what was advertised on DoorDash. I asked the woman on the phone if she can replace it and send me what I originally ordered and she says no because DoorDash should not have put the seafood rice as a side. I explained to her that’s not my issue and could she send me What I originally ordered. She refused to do anything to appease me as a customer got an attitude with me and hung up the phone on me. I do my best to support black owned businesses but once again, you deal with unprofessionalism, and extremely poor customer service. It’s not my fault that DoorDash advertised things wrong and I should have gotten the Entrée that I ordered. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I don’t see it staying open for very long if this is how they operate. Very poor service, and low Quality food. I only gave it one star so that I can write the review. Please dont bother getting food here it is overly priced and really not that good.
