Origin is by far my favorite Thai restaurant in New Jersey. If you know our reviews, you know our family is vegetarian and origin did not fail to deliver. The pad Thai with egg and tofu was absolutely out of this world. My children loved the fried pineapple fried rice. I could not stop raving about my experience at this restaurant!

My delicious birthday dinner was at @originthaifrench a fusion of French and Thai flavors restaurant in the heart of Somerville, NJ. My main dishes were Yum Poo Nim, which is a crispy soft-shell crab topped with ginger, tomato, orange and cashew nuts, served with mango-salsa salad and sticky rice. And their Escargot baked in butter and spices. The ambiance was really chic and perfect for a dinner date. I enjoyed my dinner very much.

What a gem!!! I drove over an hour from Bergen County to eat here, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. This is, hands down, the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I especially loved the raw tuna pizza and the spicy corn soup. Every bite was incredible, and everything was perfectly prepared. The service was warm and welcoming, and the entire experience was worth the drive. I can’t wait to come back!
