Tacowala is a favorite of mine for lunch or dinner! My go-to is the black magic quesadilla, but I haven’t had something I didn’t like. The flavors are all familiar but interesting and truly a fusion.
I recently went to a supper club they hosted and was impressed by every dish! You can tell the owner is passionate about food and flavor from how he described each item presented on the menu. I added some pictures from the supper club here.
I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner and trying the black magic quesadillas and the different guacamole and esquites!

Had the pleasure of attending Supper Club Volume 2 at Tacowala—what an experience! The dishes were delicious and inventive, blending the Indian flavors of my childhood with Mexican influences in a way you wouldn’t expect but that works beautifully. Service was impeccable and the vibes were immaculate. Best of all, it is all gluten free which is a necessity for me. My only request is that this becomes a monthly event!

We have visited Tacowala many times and always loved the variety of delicious veg food that’s available. The highlight was attending the supper club that was hosted last weekend…. Right upon entering, they had converted the restaurant into family style dining with a beautiful table setting and the ambience created by the lighting. The rest of the night flew by with 9 courses and storytelling that blew our minds and taste buds. Can’t wait for the next one!

We are regulars at Tacowala and we love the unusual recipes. Is it Mexican? Indian? A bit of both? Amish has created a fantastic medley of dishes that will make you come back for more. I also recommend the Supper Club where folks can try an assortment of fun dishes that is carefully and thoughtfully put together by the chef. Oh and don't believe him if he says he is not a dessert person!

Amish is an incredible chef who is able to blend foods of two different cultures together seamlessly. I had an amazing journey of flavors at his first supper club. Mexican and Indian flavors combined to make the most creative dishes. I’m looking forward to joining another supper club soon!

I went to a supper club hosted by the chef, Amish, and it was beyond incredible. The place was decorated beautifully (including the plates!), there was a fun and excited vibe amongst all the guests, and each bite of food was so special.
The level of Mexican and Indian fusion showed deep knowledge of the ingredients, and it was a mind-blowing experience. I'll definitely be signing up for the next one too!

We love tacowala’s regular menu! The paneer Birria tacos are a family favorite. There is something delicious for all of us including our kids. However, we recently attended the Supper Club and it was the most amazing culinary experience. Every dish was either refreshing or comforting and the experience left us in awe. I hope everyone gets to experience the Supper Club at some point. It truly is a dining experience.

A great take on Mexican food with a twist. Really enjoyed every flavor, its a paradise for vegetarians.
This place has around 6 options for protein substitute. Same 6 options were available under every menu type!
Portion size was small yet it was convenient and was proportionate to price. Menu offers variety of price saver combo options, which let us taste different flavors.
Spice levels were appropriate and were satisfying!
Service took time while the seating capacity of the place is less. This place is perfect to hangout with friends on a nice evening but wouldn't suggest for a full meal.

Insanely creative and delicious food. Definitely hear the owner/chef’s story. As a vegetarian I love that I can close my eyes and order anything I want without worrying about contamination.
