Everything is at least vegetarian, with many vegan dishes and most vegetarian dishes can be made vegan. Mexican Indian fusion. Fantastic flavor!
The food was amazing and Amish was super helpful to work with our schedule, deliver the food himself and be available to answer all of our questions! Definitely recommend!

This fusion restaurant sets the bar exceptionally high for alll others in its category. From the food to the ambiance to the service, everything was a 10/10! And the best part is that they also do catering!
The owner was also incredibly warm and welcoming, taking the time to share the inspiration behind his dishes. He blended flavors and chilies from places he’s lived with his roots in India to create a truly unique menu! Highly recommend the birria tacos!
The restaurant itself is super clean and thoughtfully designed, even featuring a touchscreen display with photos so you know exactly what you’re ordering. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

We had the tacowala food truck at our summer pool party. It was a hit with the kids, adults and grandparents. Amish was very accommodating. He helped create a personalized menu and even provided extra spicy salsa. The group favorite was the black magic quesadilla. His helper Junior was also friendly and made certain everyone had a great experience. I would highly recommend Tacowala for your next event!

When I’m sad I just remember I live within 15 minutes of Tacowala. Hopefully that says enough!
Tacowala fulfills that human need to not just eat but experience food. The flavors are like no others, at least that you’d find around here. We have good Mexican restaurants around, yes. But what sets Tacowala apart is their sheer mastery of centering vegetables instead of meats. Can your local Mexican restaurant “wow” you with a plate of humble vegetables, bright and charred and seeping with flavor, each sauce so thoughtfully paired? Probably not, because most Mexican restaurants have a burrito full of plain steamed veggies, if that, for us vegetarians! :p Well I much prefer a meal that will leave me scratching my head, thinking “how in the world did they….?” :)
Also, for non-vegetarians, my recommendation is just as strong. C’mon, you gotta admit you’re curious!
Those at Tacowala, I wish you continued success!

We got catering from Tacowala for my daughter’s graduation party and it was excellent. The mushroom tikka tinga, masala chorizo, paneer al pastor tacos, and black magic quesadillas were all amazing. Great staff and atmosphere despite it raining.

This place was amazing. The vibe was chill and very welcoming while still feeling very homey. The food was so unique the blend between both cultures make it taste like one culture.I would definitely recommend the paneer al pastor tacos. Overall, the food was incredible and I’m definitely coming back. Bonus points for being gluten free and nut free.

I reached out to Tacowala to do live catering in our backyard for my sisters pre-wedding event and it was great! Amish and team were on time, set up quickly, and provided food to our guests in a timely manner. Food tasted fresh and the street corn / quesadillas were a huge hit. I would highly recommend using Tacowala for any catering needs.

We had Tacowala cater a 40th birthday party at our home, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The team arrived well ahead of time to set up, which created a fun and welcoming entry for our guests as they arrived.
Our menu included chips and salsa, Mexican street corn, the Black Magic quesadilla, masala chorizo tacos, and paneer diablo. Every single item was delicious, but the Black Magic quesadilla stole the show—it was hands-down everyone’s favorite! Even the kids were thrilled with their special quesadillas. The tacos were flavorful and authentic, with a unique Indian spice twist that really set them apart.
The service was outstanding—everything was served with a smile, and the energy of the team added to the festive atmosphere. The chips and salsa were also a big hit, especially paired with their bold and tasty hot sauce.
A huge thank you to Amish, the owner, who was a pleasure to work with during the planning process. He was honest, flexible, and helped us craft a menu that was perfect for our guests. If you're considering catering for your next event, I can’t recommend Tacowala enough!

We entered on a busy Saturday afternoon around 2:30 PM, the place was busy with almost every table occupied. Self seated, as no one to welcome. No one to give directions on where to order, how to order. Fair enough, as this looked like a kind of self serve place. Ordered from the QR code, order keeps asking for table number. How do you enter table number, where are the details? No one to explain. We put some random name. Then the person who was bringing food to the tables, shouted the random name that we put from the counter and we picked up our order. No names to the dishes that were being served, we had to keep looking at our order and verify that it is the right one. The food tasted fine. The sauce bottle that is self serve was empty and was never filled. The concept of self serve is fine, but there need to be clear directions. Even though the food was fine, I wouldn’t go back to such a place and go through this hassle.
