So sad to hear of the passing of the manager. This is the best place hands down for ox tail and rice...truly a 5 star place. I'm not sure if they're opening back up but sending love to the family ?❤️

Oxtail peas and rice, is my go to buuuuuut, EVERYTHING is great! I love this place! .. it's truly the only Jamaican restaurant that I have ever tried and really enjoyed everything! Great staff, clean environment, and large portions all at reasonable prices! My favorite restaurant in Jersey hands down!

Purchased the large j*** chicken w/peas & rice and a large Ox tail w/peas & rice (both came with cabbage on the side). The large has enough food for two people no joke. Both dishes were very well made and delicious. Found a new go to ?? spot. Prices are fair especially for the amount of food given. Staff was pleasant and friendly...idk maybe it was because of the ?? accent ?. Will definitely be back..... A lot. ???

The food is good but the wife have a terrible attitude! I was 1of the first ones to support when they first open n now the wife completely changed I was so shock the way I was treated my 2nd time there especially by my own ppl, don't let the $ change u always stay the same bless.

Second time stopping by. The food is very flavourful. If you like Jamaican food this place is great. For example, chicken patties have nice texture and are seasoned just right. Oxtail is falling off the bone...yum!!!

The food is tasty. However I had a not so good experience with the staff. I went online prior to calling to check what the menu had, and I ordered j*** chicken and oxtail. The prices online don’t match the prices they state. Upon arriving to pick my order, I question this and instead of them courteously informing me that there’s a price change due to covid, which I don’t mind paying, they told me I shouldn’t follow what the website states as it had any been updated for a while and it’s costly for them to keep updating the website. Also, I seemed to be the only customer who had checked the menu online and that didn’t matter. This has left a BAD taste in my mouth as a simple explanation would have sufficed. I’m honestly disappointed.
We met with friends at this place for dinner. my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was very successful. The staff were extremely nice and we had a great feeling. The meal was delicious. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. Keep it up.

This place is definitely one of the most pleasant place to eat in the area. Always when I come to this place I am highly happy. They keep their high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they provide. You always win with this restaurant. Very recommended.

The food is EXCELLENT. It is one of a few places where you can purchase and enjoy authentic Cuisine from the Caribbean. However, the service needs improvement. Too often the wait time for food is too long. A better system needs to be developed to insure that food items are NOT unavailable to customers, very early in the day.

We ordered from here for the first time yesterday and I’m so glad we did. We got the stewed chicken with rice and beans and plantains. Everything was delicious, flavorful and tasted freshly cooked even at 7pm on a Wednesday. The portions are also pretty big and could feed two people. We also order a beef patty with coco bread and split it because it was a lot. The bread was nice and soft and tasted amazing. I honestly can’t wait to order from here again. Looking forward to the j*** chicken next time. I’m so glad we found you guys on Door Dash!!!
