I don't know if Mayberry had an ice cream shop in the Andy Griffith show, but if it did it would be called Hi-Tams ice cream. And just like in Mayberry you would get some of the creamiest ice cream, that would be the center of the town's sweet tooth heart. That little walkway out front holds so many memories from generations upon generations of Somerset County residents. And if you get to peek your head inside the little window and see some of the décor on the walls, the old posters, the little television in the corner playing some TV show that nobody can watch because they're always so darn busy... It's a slice of American life, The American ice cream shop.

Great ice cream and a good portion size. Small is two scoop. Service very good. Only open part of week. A large variety of homemade hard ice cream flavors. I will go back.

I have not been yet, I can not read the menu there is a glare making it blury. You need to have a typed menu on the www. Have a clear photo with no reflections no sun glare so people can read the menu.

Lived in this town since i was born in 2006. Never got a soft server, mango, with a cherry on top anywhere but here. Knew Harry before he passed, not the same without hi, but the ice cream is still the best I have ever had.

It was busy so maybe I should give 5 stars but the garbage was over flowing and the counters needed to be cleaned. Ice cream was good. Prices average. Portions small. Workers were nice

Tasted the strawberry ? Ice Cream. Felt the freshness in every single bite. Sundaes are also so tasty & worth the price. 3 Toppings for Large Sundaes. Try them and don't miss a chance in this summer. But don't forget to bring Cash, not accepting credit/Debit Cards.
