Ordered a dozen cupcakes from cupcakes.com which are supplied by Dana's Bakery, I found out later.

They came in an enormous box, with insulated wrapping, cold gel packs, and lots of air. The actual box of desserts was small, about the size of a large textbook. One dozen "normal" (not mini) cupcakes inside, each about the volume of two ping pong balls.

The cake was a bit dry, the frosting was overly firm and slid off the cake in one overly sweet mouthful. The cake itself was probably two bites.

So a dozen cupcakes for $79 at two bites each? That's over $6.50 per cupcake. For how they tasted, they would have been too expensive at half the price. What a rip off.

No wonder cupcakes.com doesn't provide any sense of scale in their photos.

Cannot recommend unless you have money to burn and would rather look at treats than eat them.

The owner is absolutely wonderful!! The cookies I ordered were out of stock, so she herself called me and arranged for a replacement that would be here for my son’s birthday . I have never dealt with a company whose owner takes such pride in their business that she would call herself . We order from Dana’s regularly and we are all obsessed with her cookies!! Everything we have gotten has been so delicious and fresh!! Worth the money, you won’t get any better gluten free products elsewhere I promise !! Forever a huge fan of Danas !!

I have been a huge fan of Dana's Bakery for the past couple of years, so much so that I recommended my company start using them for employee anniversary gifts each month. Initially, this led to a great business relationship, but over the past four months, things have gone drastically downhill.

Our entire list of July orders went missing, despite having paid for them. After discussing the issue with the owner, she assured me she would do everything in her power to rectify the situation and even promised to credit our account for one order that was significantly overdue and never delivered. Trusting that this was an honest mistake, I gave her another chance with our August order. However, some deliveries were made while others never reached my employees' homes.

I attempted to contact the owner multiple times via email, phone messages, and eventually Instagram messages, which was the only way I received a response. It seems there is a lack of concern and communication regarding our orders. To this day, July’s orders are still missing, with no tracking information provided despite repeated requests.

I emailed the owner earlier this week to express my disappointment, given our longstanding relationship, but received no response. We have spent thousands of dollars supporting her bakery, and it seems there is no regard for customer service. If you are considering starting a business relationship with Dana's Bakery, I highly recommend exercising caution. They may say what you want to hear, but the follow-through is lacking. If needed, I can provide copies of the emails exchanged.

I wish Dana's Bakery success, but if these issues persist, I am concerned it may all begin to fall apart.

Don’t be fooled by the sign. It’s not a bakery it’s an online store. Wish I could judge the product but I was told upon arrival it’s an online store and to get baked goods for a party tomorrow I’d have to order it online and have it delivered. Sounds perfect, it’s only 100+ degrees out and I’m sure nothing would melt get hot or spoil in transit. ? Such a shame and so so so disappointed as I was there on Sunday when the door read closed so I came back today and had to leave empty handed

Was disappointed that this location has hours posted as they seem they are not open to the public. We have had them shipped to us in Ohio in the past and was excited to see they had a retail store. We stopped on the way home from New York City and there was a closed sign and one that said for online order pick up. Rang the bell to see if I could order online and no one came. I looked online and doesn’t seem like macarons are available right now? Odd considering this is what I thought the business was centered around. Maybe hours should not be posted on Google maps if not retail, says they were updated by the business.

Furious about their unprofessionalism. This business is not set up for success. I ordered $145 worth of macaroons online for baby shower and received majority of them completely melted, out of shape, unable to be used. When I asked for them for help with pictures sent, they said nothing can be done because I didn’t spend extra money on “insurance”. In fact, they just told me to use the damaged macaroons. Would you serve these at your own baby shower?! I’ll be looking into filing a lawsuit. I don’t mind wasting couple thousand dollars to get this place’s business license suspended. This is a fraud way of sales without consumer in mind. And if I don’t action on it there will be more victims in the future.

Impossible to call , no one answers, ask for message to call because no one ever calls back. Terrible customer service.

I have been ordering from Dana's Bakery for a few years now. Black and white cookies and macarons - loved all of them. The past year though...not great. Placed an order in December 2022 and the diary free black and white cookies looked and tasted off, like they were undercooked or missing something, not the best but not inedible. Figured I would give them another chance and ordered the Italian rainbow stuffed and the double chocolate sea salt cookies. Arrived yesterday and both taste weird - raw dough tasting and really salty is the best way that I can describe the taste - so gross even my uncooked cookie batter eating 8-year-old won't eat them. $100+ of cookies right in the trash. Disappointing because up until recently, everything was great.

I delivered some items to this business & they got mad because they don’t have the buttermilk in the store that I was getting their items in. That’s wrong of them. The store isn’t always going to have the items in stock. I put a lot of effort into all of my deliveries & lowering my tip to $5 is a slap in the face.

I ordered macarons from them for a friend. It was a large gift box of macarons and it was around $96. It didn’t get delivered because apparently the driver couldn’t find the address so they were returned to Dana’s bakery. I messaged my friend a few weeks later asking if she ever received the macarons and she didn’t. That’s how I found out they were returned to Dana’s. I emailed customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. They should have contacted me when it was returned to sender, and they didn’t even offer a refund when clearly the recipient never received the product. I have ordered from them many times but never again. So disappointed.

I really enjoyed the box sent to me. Each cookie and macaroon was delicious!

This company has a monthly variety box with macaron flavors for that month. You order, you pay a high price, you pay 2 day shipping. Then they arrive with a card that shows the flavors you ordered but the box is completely different. They do not arrive in 2 days because they only ship at the beginning of the week. They are all chipped up. Customer service says "sorry, those flavors weren't available and no refunds." What they send are the most unpopular flavors, like sour candy macaron. So misleading and terrible customer service. I would never order from them again. $100 for macarons that are the complete opposite of the January description.

All of the macarons are perfect! Our order was swiftly process and the cookies are perfect. The sugar cookie macarons taste like a perfect sugar cookie and the birthday cake macarons have perfect birthday cake flavor. The cookie dough was heavenly and my mom said the CoconutSnomac was like eating a cloud. I am highly anticipating eating the Fried Oreo flavor as I am gluten-free so I can never enjoy the favorite at the summer fairs.December 30 2022 update: The Fried Oreo was perfect and tasted exactly how a fried Oreo should taste.
