We love Ariyoshi and have been customers for over 15 years! The best sushi in the area. From their miso soup, nabe yake udon to many, many of their sushi rolls, we are fans and definitely recommend!

A friend and myself came across this gem by happenstance. The wait staff is incredibly kind and patient. The atmosphere was calming and the food is FANTABULOUS!!! I recommend this place for lunch and dinner. Whether it's just friends or a casual date.

I enjoy this restaurant, but I am not sure we will be returning due to their extremely rude hostess. Today, Saturday September 7th, 2024, I called them approximately 1:39pm, and I asked them “Do you all serve lunch?” & the hostess rudely responded, “Yes, because I am at work.” I worked in the service industry as a hostess & waitress for several years in the past, I would NEVER speak to a customer to this way!

I'm very picky about where I eat sushi. I'm a firm believer that it should be great quality and authentic. That's why I love coming to Ariyoshi. I'm a SHU alumni and I've been coming for years and I still come from out of town to satisfy my sushi craving. I always order the spicy yellowtail roll, shrimp tempura and the california rolls. Ariyoshi arguably has some of the freshest sushi I've ever had and that keeps me coming back! Happy returning customer!

First time here and everything was delicious. Sushi was super fresh. Seaweed salad and seafood were amazing starters! Had the sesame crusted tuna roll, mango tango roll and lobster roll . Would recommend to others

Living nearby, I go here a lot as it is my preferred sushi restaurant in South Orange. My experience is consistently good, and I've done takeout and dine-in many times. Lots of variety in sushi and also several good choices for appetizers (the Rock Shrimp and the tartare on rice cracker are both so good). Can get pretty busy during the rush and the place isn't huge, but service has always been good. I will be back many more times for sure.
