Never had a bad experience at this Carvel. Everyone is always so patient and helpful if you want to try some flavors you've never had. I like most of their flavors as their ice cream is super sweet and I have a sweet tooth but my favorites are the limited dashers that they always have per season or however often they change. Definitely give them a try.

The Mint Chocolate Chip Sundae Dasher was the most disgusting sundae I ever had. The entire cup is 3/4 quarter filled with chocolate chips and 1/4 is the ice cream. The Vanilla inside the Fudge Brownie Sundae Dasher was watery and melted way too fast.

We ordered two custom cakes and LOVED them! The owners are super nice and welcoming and their kids work there, too which gives it a warm family feel. They called to confirm the details of the cake orders and everything was ready right on time!

I went there 3 times during this year. Every time I ask for a vanilla cone dipped in hot chocolate they don't have it. I have to settle for a chocolate and vanilla swirl. SO SAAAD!!! I definitely would have given the venue a 5 star

The person that was working behind the counter over mixed the milkshake. When I asked him to make it again he did the same thing. I asked for a refund and he did not give me my money back.
I dont know if its carvel in general or this location in south orange but the ice cream has no flavor at all both the soft serve and hard ice cream even the topping are cheap tasting! Compared to competitors like ritas and cold stone!..I should have went up the street to coldstone for the same price. I had no issues with the service just the quality. Do better Carvel not fair to the paying customers.
