my second time dining here, first time getting the Karage chicken. It was very oily and it was more breaded than chicken. I’m not disappointed in the food really even though it wasn’t prepared right , but i’m so disappointed in the service. The young lady reassured me i was getting a ketchup (sauce) with the food. She explained it was a sauce made with ketchup. When i got the food, it tasted like pure ketchup. I specifically asked before i decided to get it!! I asked the cook what sauce it was he stated it was Ketchup. If i had known it was just ketchup I wouldn’t have ordered the dish. Service & demeaner from the young lady was terrible. She wasn’t welcoming, and if the food is bad atleast the service or something should be worth it. Bad for business. Have a good day!!

I’d been here previously just for bubble tea tonight I ordered a Poke Bowl, purple rice with scallops, spicy salmon, and shrimp, Cucumber, toppings were mango, avocado, sesame seeds, crispy onions nions, masago, and acallions.
The portion was really nice, enough to share a few bites and still have leftovers. I will definitely return, the amount of food for the cost was well worth it! The fish is fresh and a nice variety is offered. I’ll have to rotate through. I’ll also make adjustments to the toppings. I had a Taro milk tea. My partner ordered pork buns and we both remarked how much better they were than other places we really enjoy them from. We definitely plan to return Sorry to only post my food,

When I first came here a couple years ago, the ramen was the best in the area now it seems like the quality they put in the food has went down. It’s less flavorful and it is not restaurant worthy.
When I first ate inside, the food was served in with bowls and plates now today they served my food in a paper bowl and a plastic soon definitely not ramen worthy
The quality of the food isn’t worth the price

Great bubble tea! Real brewed tea with soft bobas that were pleasant and not tough to chew. I asked for lightly sweetened and it was made perfectly. Would be happy to order from there again.

Its a cozy place, a few seats, very clean and good food. Very simple. I really enjoy ramen so this is the closest place to me and the bubble tea is good. I always get slushes tho. Staff are very friendly

I ordered, Chipoba (South Orange), a couple of times for lunch, and just had to review the ramen. I ordered their, Spicy Miso Ramen w/ Chashu & 6 Minute Egg, on one occasion. And on another occasion I ordered their, Aburi Chashu Rice Bowl w/ 6 Minute Egg. I absolutely LOVED the Ramen Bowl. It was fantastic! The broth tasted extremely fresh and flavorful, the veggies added were fresh and added a nice crisp taste. The Chashu took a little getting used to. Not sure if that’s how ALL of Ramen Chashu comes, but the texture was comparable to being not cooked long enough. Great flavor though! The Aburi Chashu Rice Bowl was extremely disappointing, mainly because for the second time, the pork just did not have a great texture. Everything else was really good though! When I order this place again, might try a different meat or vegan their options. It’s really only the Chashu (Pork), that is throwing the score off a bit. EVERYTHING else was AMAZING! I’d highly recommend, Chipoba (South Orange), to anyone in the area, and are looking for some really good ramen. Unless you’re accustomed to the Chashu, I’d say get something else. The Chashu was really good in flavor, it’s just the texture. The fat doesn’t melt in your mouth, and the pork is a bit tough. But def check this place out, the customer service is so dang good. They’re really nice and attentive. The Spicy Miso Ramen broth is delicious.

Food is amazing the workers are super friendly, only think I would change about the ramen broth is super salty. Perfect amount of noodles and broth. The buns and poke bowls are super delicious. I love how you get too choose what you want in your poke bowl. The boba teas are amazing. My favorite is the milk taro bubble tea. I think they need more chairs and tables inside. I know they can’t fit allot in such a small space. I’m so happy there’s a bubble/poke bowl place in town so now I don’t have too go too nyc all the time too get it. Sad there closed on Sundays because allot of restaurants in south orange are closed. But if your in town defiantly stop by!
