I enjoyed dining at Inkosi Cafe. I Love that this cafe is Black Owned. The owner is the sweetest!. It felt good to be welcomed with open arm's and a few laughs!. I had the chicken wrap with seasoned fries. It was very flavorful. It was made to order. I also had an amazing smoothie!.

The owners are so accommodating and inviting. The food is fresh, everything is made to order and delicious. We were a party of 7 we ordered chicken tenders and fries for my granddaughters they loved them. We also order the ginger chicken wrap, my brother really enjoyed it and said the strap was very tasty. My mother and I got the salmon burger with the special sauce which is so delicious, nice portion of salmon and the bread is so soft and tasty. My son got the delicious juicy burger, it was huge and my daughter in law got the crunchy, juicy fish sandwich. All orders come with sweet potato fries or seasoned fries both are great choices. I ordered and drank the green smoothie, their lemonade is great and the uptown is great too. Check it out today. I love the vibe and the jazz makes it even better. You will enjoy the food, vibe and your time there. I highly recommend Inkosi Cafe.

Food service was horrible with 27 dollars you get a salmon burger fries and a uptown from Uber eats my car is broken down right now so I order from Uber eats been goin here for a year never again after this my food was late then I called they said order menus change how u gon charge someone 27$ for a drink and a salmon burger and no sides I called they said come down to the store for a new order and if I do that Uber gonna charge me the same price to get it the food they fell off bad don’t waste your time at this place lucky to get a refund from Uber eats

Nice place to have lunch. I dined in during my lunch and ordered the salmon salad and buffalo wings. No lie it took close to 25 minutes before the food came out. I was infuriated and wondered why a salad was taking so long. When my food came out it was a salmon burger and fries on my plate lol, no wonder. I should've know because while taking my order I was asked if I wanted fries, I did thought to myself why would a salad come with fries but maybe it was the wings, anyway I didn't ask. They did offer to take the burger back and do my correct order but I decline because I would've went over my lunch hour and I did not want to wait any longer so I kept the burger. To my surprise it tasted really good. The wings however I was not a fan. I was charged to eat inside the café like :0 smhThe next time I ordered take out during lunch, I was not about to be charged extra to eat in the café, again. This time I ordered the crab cake burger with the sweet potato fries. I was very excited to try it. OMG sadly it was awful. I should've known because after I opened the box the smell made me nauseous and the crab cake was just so soggy and just mushy, I didn't think much of it for I was hungry lol. The fries looked like there were fried and became soggy and fried again, it was awful. I couldn't finish everything and I ate like 2 pieces of fries, I was soo nauseous it was bad. I didn't think I would've been able to go drive back to work.At first I thought maybe because I ate too fast and that made me nauseous, but my dad had the same burger and it made him nauseous as well. Maybe it was a bad day for them. I don't think I'll be trying that one again. A waste of money.
I have relocated and had not been to the cafe in over a year. I happened to be in South Orange recently and decided to stop by and get a smoothie for my husband and myself for our ride home. You cannot beat their smoothies. They are all natural and bursting with flavor. I hope to stop in for a meal the next time we are in the area.
