BUYER BEWARE: RACIST/ DISCRIMINATORY OWNERSI’ve frequented this restaurant often, and my issue is usually the same: the waiting staff, particularly the older and younger women, are insulting. I usually look passed it but it has become increasingly worse. Today the older women yelled in my face. I declined to purchase the food after that and I do not believe I will be patronizing this establishment any longer. They do not uphold the ethos of the town in which we live. Hopefully they will take this critique and practice better customer service.Update:I want to add that when looking at the reviews from customers it seemed to be Black customers who have vocalized concerns of an extremely rude waiting staff. This is very concerning as it produces the question of discrimination due to racist. Again their behaviors especially if racist does not fit the ethos of South Orange. I will not be patronizing this establishment. However I would like to add that the young man that works there is very kind and helpful.

The woman in charge HATES her customers. Bad, bad environment. Food isn't wonderful, but that kind of hostility and abuse come from a deep place which I would prefer to eschew and not be forced to experience. The food doesn't even begin to be worth her unbidden rage. Still shaking from the shock of her hostility. Toxic!

This is the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. Do NOT go here. Chicken lo mein tastes (and smells) like straight up sesame oil, for 10$ when their website says 6$. I tried to power through the food but it truly was not good, I called the restaurant to try to get a refund or an exchange and they obliged with an exchange for Sweet and Sour chicken for a dollar more, even though the food was terrible. I go to the restaurant and show her the food (pictured below) to which the woman begins screaming at me that "HE ATE HALF! HE ATE HALF!" and refusing to give me the exchange. The son comes over and examines the food, tells me I ate half, to which i reply I ate maybe 3/4 of the container. They try to charge me an additional 5$ for the sweet and sour chicken. After obliging to give me the chicken for a dollar more, they hand me a Chinese food container of chicken with the sweet and sour sauce. Like the white rice Chinese container. That's it. No rice. They say "rice doesn't come with it." A small container of chicken for 11$??? Absolutely not. I took the lo mein and my dollar back and threw the food in the trash. Never never ever go here, worst customer service and restaurant I've ever been to.

Pretty decent, not the best food I've had at a Chinese restaurant but decent if you're looking for a quick bite. We ordered the chicken wings and fries and 3 egg rolls . For some reason all the egg rolls tasted burnt . I have no idea why maybe something like the veggies cooked for too long but definitely a burnt flavor after taste. The chicken wings and fries were good no complaints there . The scenery around the area is nice . You can sit outside across the street at a little amphitheater style area with nice wall art ??.

The food is good but the customer service is HORRIBLE. They use a third party to handle their calls but the lady who works inside screens the calls & often gets on the phone very nasty & aggressive. I have been there to pick up food where she is in the back yelling at the rest of them. I love their food but energy is real & she needs to learn customer service

Where do I begin? If I could rate this place a zero, I would. The prices are inconsistent. My coworker ordered the same thing on the same day and he was charged more money one time. They have $15 minimum in order to use a card payment. The women running the restaurant is extremely rude, disrespectful, and racist. She's rude to black customers.Today I went there to order and I was dreading it because it's always an unpleasant experience. I should've known better, the only reason I went is because The New Great Wall is closed on Mondays. Which is another Chinese take out which is walking distance from them. They provide better customer service and the food is better. I was ordering some food and I didn't understand the question the owner asked me and I had her repeat herself. She got so frustrated, she slammed her fist on the makeshift counter they made due to Covid. I was shocked at how comfortable she was displaying her anger towards me. I cancelled my order and I knew I would never return, it was the last straw. On top of everything the food is trash from past experience. They don't deserve to be in business with the quality of customer service and food they provide. They definitely lost me as customer. They need to understand there's too much competition for them with their lack luster food and disrespectful personnel, good luck and good riddance.
