I finally hit up Mozzarella in South Orange after seeing all the hype about their mozzarella sticks. Ordered a portion and honestly, they deliver. Nice golden crunch on the outside not greasy at all and the cheese inside pulls apart perfectly without turning into a soupy mess. Came with warm marinara that actually tastes homemade, not that canned vibe. They’re not the biggest sticks ever, but the quality is solid, everything feels fresh. Brought my own beer since it’s BYOB (huge plus) and they paired great. Left me wanting to go back, maybe grab a pizza next time too. Not over the top amazing, but easily some of the best mozzarella sticks I’ve had in NJ. Solid spot if you’re in the area.
