In my opinion this is the best Asian food in South Orange. Keep in mind they do not deliver.

Tons of menu options! A great choice and a great service. Their dumplings are huge and very delicious in addition to the sweet and sour chicken. A must visit!

Food's good, staff is friendly. Grateful they are still here after COVID. If you're in a rush, they are very fast.

Got take out from here a few times. Tonight the wings were definitely old. It had a odd taste to it. I ate half a wing and couldn’t stomach the rest of it. Super annoying given how much food costs today. This is the last time I order from them.

This place is definitely a hit or miss. Egg fried rice and vegetables lo mein was really good first time I ordered. This time, it was very dry and bland. I’m not going back but here’s the menu if you want to take a chance on satisfying your appetite from “No. 1” Chinese Food.

Been trying and trying to find a new Chinese restaurant that was relatively close with good food, well this place was relatively close, so 1 out of 2 is ok I guess. Food was just not really good, ordered Chicken lo mein and it came with the bones... Yikes. Egg Fu Yung was greasy and bland, fried wontons almost broke a tooth. Was really hoping for better but this wasn't even close

This place serves food better than normal Chinese restaurants. There's a slightly better seasoning to all the dishes, and it's as fresh as you can get. The prices are the same as similar restaurants. I prefer this one. People are friendly and efficient. It is very close to where I work, and I usually grab a couple of side orders and an iced tea. Convenient and good quality food.

They Numba 1 for a reason. Get that bourbon chicken combination, you won't regret it

Rice was a bit dry, forgot one of my items. But overall, pretty good. And not heavily oiled like most Chinese food places

I’ve ordered here a few times and the food is consistently sub-par. The last time I went, I ordered veggie dumplings and soup and bit into a pork dumpling, which was pretty disturbing since I don’t eat pork. The Chinese food on SO avenue isn’t good to begin with so it’s not drastically different from any of the other ones in town. If you’re expecting tasty Chinese food, this isn’t it.
