This is one of my favorite places for Happy Hoir and Dinner. I had the calamari and the oxtail both were really good. My sister had the salmon, mash potatoes and mac and cheese, she couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. Every drink was just as good as the previous one. I am going back asap.

I'm biased because the owner is a family friend, but the twice I've been a patron, everything was right, correct, and well executed. My last lunch, the Lobster Bisque was tasty, but not chunky enough (I made one myself once, and it was better.) The jerkwings were legit, and the Wasabi dip was a good compliment. Do try the Crab-Stuffed Red Snapper! My ? Favorite!

Haven't been since the pandemic but I sure do miss the jerk wings with green sauce and the sangria....delicious food and tasteful atmosphere. Would also recommend this spot if you are taking someone on a date.

I haven't been in a while, but I decided to get dinner while there. This time, I had the oxtails with rice, gravy, and vegetables, complimented by a long island iced tea. The food was brought out quickly and was cooked well, but it could have used a little more seasoning. Still tasty, tho. I will most definitely go back to try other dishes.

This place needs to do better for what they charge. From the looks it looks classy but the service was terrible. We had party guest in the 2 back rooms on Saturday 8/3 around 7:00 it was so hot everyone was sweating. Staff said the owner locked the AC so they couldn’t control it ? we had to ask for water and practically pour it ourselves. Classless! Someone ordered sweet potato fries and got regular. The food took over a hour to come. Some guest got their food early and left rather than everyone eat at the same time. The server was nice but at the end of the day everything else was terrible. Please do better for what you charge.
I’ve been a regular patron of Paps for years now. The staff, bartenders, atmosphere, food, drinks, and parking are all worth the trip. There’s no drama, drinks are made with love and there’s always just enough conversation to get you thru the day. Terdoo, Blanca, Alex, Austin, Jaime and Claude all breathe life into this place and I’ll continue to support for years to come
After work I decided to visit Papillon 25,just to let my hair down.Terdoo and Blanco truly made my night and it was a much needed unbeknownst to them.I can’t wait to come back and support these ladies!

Blanco, Terdoo, Austin, Jaime, Tahj, Alex are the best bartenders ever. I've been. Coming since 2010, at least. Great service, atmosphere, and mixologists.
Perhaps I spend too much time in this place, but it's the best vibe in Essex County. The atmosphere here is relatively upscale, the service is on point and sometimes they feature live music. Happy hour prices and options are solid. And there are a few big screen tvs around the bar to catch a game! But the real beauty about this place is the personalities of the staff, all of whom have their own vibe and drink specialities. From Turdu, who is a sweetheart and just mixed me a yummy Mohito...to Austin, who is given to whipping up new drinks and good for some meaningful conversation...to Blanco and Jamie...solid bartenders.

The one area where more work would be helpful would be the broader menu. All tbe bar food and high volume items are very good, but there are ocassional misses on the other items. Love this place though!
