Excellent Mexican food. I dined at this establishment many years ago. The food was very tasty, fresh & very enjoyable!

Came here for a late lunch on a Sunday. The experience was so much better than I had expected. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. First, the drinks. I had two rocks margaritas. They were very, very good. And a good size too. Very tasty. I've had some great margaritas, and some terrible ones. These were very much on the good/great side. So that was refreshing. We ordered the shrimp and scampi/garlic appetizer. OMG, we wanted to drink that sauce it was so good. Fresh cut garlic, just so good. Wife ordered the steak fajitas and I ordered the combo (chicken/steak/shrimp) fajitas. I think fajitas are a great choice to order here. They are presented very nicely, you get a lot, and they were absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, just wonderful. The rice and beans were also service in a little tortilla bowl, which I proceeded to eat also. Overall it was just awesome. I can't wait to come back!

Love the service and food! Our son is a New Mexican food fan so we will be back!! There was a live musician there. He started at 7pm and was a bit loud for us - I’m sure the volume was better in the dining room as opposed to the bar dining where we were. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu and the server was really great with our son! Made it a memorable experience!

Always a good idea for Toro Loco. I'm a South Orange Native. And have been there many times and it's always good.

Been going here for almost twenty years. The servers never change which is a sign of a well run business. Food is consistently good. Enchiladas mole poblano is my go to. Their mole poblano is the best I've had outside of Texas. Last time we were there a few days ago, it was slightly different and might have actually been better than Texas. Also recommend the ceviche Veracruz.
The food there was well cooked and delicious the wait time was so short I thought I was at my house and not a diner the waiters were very nice and the place was very roomy and clean with cool decorations plus there was free chips!!
This was a very disappointing visit and I'm sure my last. I haven't been there many time in the last decade about 10 or so. I've friends and always bragged that this was my favorite Mexican restaurant. Being from LA, it was a thrill find this place. The place is the same, however the food has a lot to be desired for(well at least my meal) I had a shrimp enchilad. ( which Ive had several times before) this tasted like a tortilla with less flavor that ketchup. this would have been just a lesson not to ask for this again and try something new. but I'm not going back. because I was asked 4x's back to back to back if everything was alright. 3 of them were after I got the check. I felt rushed and unwante not welcomed back. Hasta la vista, el toro local.

Yeah just no. Waiter was in such a hurry our entire stay there. There was a strange smell as well. We order guacamole and it was so bland. In fact most of our meals ordered were bland. Found a hair in two of the four meals served. Just not a great experience.
Very good service ?
