Mejwaani offers a rare and delightful glimpse into authentic Maharashtrian cuisine, setting it apart from typical Indian restaurant fare. We thoroughly enjoyed this place for its unique flavors, delicious meals and friendly service.
We started off with the solkadi, it was not very authentic the garlic flavour was too strong and the coconut milk wasn’t enough. Next we had the Bombil fry. It was good, well cooked. However the bombil was not fresh. Tried the Surmai and pomfret thali. They were both tasty and the portion was good. Like the Surmai one more.

We ordered Pomfret thali and Surmai thali. The fish was fresh! The curry was just like home cooked.. very authentic. Rice bhakri was a great addition. We were delighted to find traditional festive desert - “mangane” in the thali.
And the desert was Puran Poli!
Every dish was absolutely delicious!
Must visit for home cooked Konkani/Malwani food!
And above all the service was friendly!
