“I visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.

I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.

While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.“

We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. For starters, the customer service was superb. MaryAnne and Reginald were extremely welcoming, warm, and attentive from the moment I walked in. The great service didn’t stop there. I had the chance to try their fresh smoothies, bowls, and Rush Bites, and everything was truly exceptional. Each item was full of flavor, made with fresh ingredients, and you could tell they take pride in what they serve.

First off, Dave (I am assuming the owner) and Danny our server, were super gracious and inviting and offered some great suggestions. I had the birria tacos which were great. We were a part of 4 and everybody loved their meals. My wife is a vegetarian and there were plenty of options for her. The guacamole was perfect. Street corn appetizer was fantastic. “I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

Joe, the owner, is there every day and somehow knows everyone by name—it really feels like a community staple. When we first moved to the area, I made it a point to try every bagel shop nearby, and these are hands down the best. The bagels are consistently excellent, the breakfast sandwiches are fantastic, and there are plenty of solid lunch options too. My personal favorite is the Nova cream cheese sandwich. It’s become a family tradition for us to come every Saturday morning for fresh bagels, and they even freeze well for weekday breakfasts (which is surprisingly hard to find). Luis was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our order. Our server Sofia was extraordinary! she was warm and friendly with genuine smile. She offered excellent recommendations and we had conversation as if we're know each other for years. We started with a complimentary bruschetta, it was tasty and nicely flavored. I ordered the Tapas- Polpo Ala Plancha, Steak Yuca Frities and Crabmeat/shrimp tacos. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. The portion was perfect and the presentation was impeccable. Due 360 was quite a gem of an Argentine-Italian restaurant (interesting combo but it worked!). This place is going to be my "go to" dining spot. I highly recommend it and the experience is worth it.“

“This is truly a hidden gem on Main Street, Sayreville. The front of the restaurant features an ice cream parlor, so the real Thai restaurant is very easily overlooked. There's a rear entrance directly into the restaurant from the side street. This was our first time ordering takeout from here. Amazingly wonderful food. We ordered the Red Curry and the Thai Grill and I never have tasted such delicious Thai food ever before!!!! It's a cozy little place to actually sit down and eat. Among all the Thai restaurants in the surrounding area, I will rate this a 5*, A++++ Next time we plan to actually sit down and have a meal at the restaurant, rather than take out. We ordered steamed vegetable dumplings to start. Fresh ingredients and the perfect starter to a great meal. The Thai milk tea was outstanding. Not too sweet yet creamy and addictive. The staff directed me towards the lemongrass pho with vegetables and tofu. It was out of this world! The lemongrass flavor was rich and comforting. My boyfriend ordered the Bánh mì. It was sweet and savory - the perfect balance. The baguette was fresh and the meat was very seasoned and well cooked. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Andy. You can tell he’s passionate about his restaurant and customers.
