“This place is excellent. Keep in mind its cash only, with an ATM located inside. My first time there was sort of forced, when i was younger i was not open to different food like this. Now i find myself at this establishment multiple times a month. This time i had the saint patty day special. Corned beef with cabbage, and potato soup. Very good. Also tried the brat salad (i think it was called) which is german bologna with tomatos, onions, and maybe cucumber. It was extremely good. The kartoffelpuffers (potato pancakes) are amazing, the spatzel (fried german noodles) are my favorite. And the beef stew is like no other. Ive never had anything bad off this menu. The desserts are great as well.“

The staff is super friendly and welcoming, they host many cool events, as as a non-beer drinker, their seltzers are homemade with as much care as their beers, unlike many other craft breweries. (My partner says great things about the beer too, don't worry.) And the local food options are great to combat NJ's weird craft brewery laws.“

“Today was my first time at Peewee’s. The selection was great, I was especially pleased with all of the vegan choices. I had been wanting to try the corn ice cream and it did not disappoint. Unique and delicious! My daughter got the vegan piña colada with toasted marshmallows which she enjoyed. “To make a long story short...I ordered a quiche a few days ago to be picked up this morning at 10:00. When I arrived, it was not ready because the kitchen was running behind. Before I even had time to regroup my thoughts, BethAnn asked what time I needed it and they would deliver. She gave me the time frame of 11-11:45. At 11:05, my fresh-out-of-the-oven quiche was delivered by a very pleasant driver, and lunch went on as planned! Thank you for keeping this customer satisfied.“

“First visit mid September 2023. My buddy from this neighborhood and I decided to check out the restaurant. I wasn't hungry but the coffee was good and my buddy really enjoyed his breakfast and the waitress was fantastic. So, from that point on. I decided to take a chance and invite my very picky wife. She and I also enjoyed our huge meals with fresh ingredients. We've been to a few other restaurants and it seems that the trend now is to charge high prices for canned goods. It's a real turn off. Again, I took a chance and invited my out of state buddy to dine here after bragging about how great the food is and the service is top notch... well, almost! When we arrived, the cashier/hostess guided us to a table near the counter. My buddy got up and asked the two female workers (one of which wound up being our waitress) where the men's room was, neither one of them turned around to acknowledge him. The busboy turned and gave him directions. Later, we got a young waitress and we both are assuming she was new. We had to ask for everything from coffee creamers to napkins. I'm hoping she'll get better as time goes on. When our dinning experience was finished (with this girl) I asked for a container, she brings it out but doesn't quite get it on the table and it falls to the floor and instead of saying "Don't worry, I'll get another one", she just looks at it (on the floor) and so I had to reach down to pick it up. Thank goodness, it landed on its backside so, it was still usable. I wanted to give five stars for service but that one girl messed up my thought process. Bottom line is, Jenett is the best seasoned waitress there. She knows how to treat her guests. She's thoughtful, able to assess the situation and is eager to help out wherever she can. There are two other girls that are pretty good too. But my experience is on Janette. From now on, I'm going to ask who our waitress/server is going to be.“
