Because we were a party of 2 and ordered many courses , the server staggered our food so we could enjoy every morsel We started with soup. I had the lentil my husband had Moroccan Bean. Both were so wonderful we we started sharing. I was looking forward to the taramasalata all day. When it came to the table along with warmed pita bread it did not disappoint. On to the falafel: which were some of the best we ever sampled. Not finished yet, next we had lamb kafta. Which were succulent and prepared to perfection. Our final course was the superb moussaka. The eggplant melted in our mouth with each bite and the ground beef and béchamel enhanced the flavor to a higher level Our only disappoint was we didn't have room left for dessert. Sun Woo Cafe is clearly a family owned business with a lot of love in it. I’m always greeted with a smile by the owners. I’ve order bibimbap, bulgogi rice bowls, and bulgogi kimbap here and all have been excellent!
The inside is cute enough for a dinner date, which I’ve had here twice—although currently they have temporary hours and are more set up for take out than dine in.

Everything is incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly homemade and authentic as I can always taste the delicious love put into It.
I'm a bit of a bibimbap connoisseur and lover. They give you kimchi and the gochujang to mix in (mild spicy sauce included in my takeout bag) and it was perfect. So delicious and fresh. Nice portions!

The Bulgogi Kimbap was also amazing, and I was impressed with how much came with my order. You could order this alone for lunch and be happy! Make sure to mix with kimchi and the spicy sauce.

So happy this opened up in my neighborhood! I hope it continues to grow. Please check it out and support a small family owned business.

The buffet section of the restaurant was great and had a nice selection of items. Was great to have when we needed a break from the meats. Food overall was excellent. Today I had the chicken Cesar wrap special with the cucumber mint juice and it really make my work from home day. All the food is fresh and tastes amazing. You can really tell it is prepared with care and love. The to go boxes even arrived looking picture perfect which is not always the case with takeout.“

Backdoor pizza is also outback🤫. Only drawback is whenever me and my lady come in one female barkeep seems to purposely avoid greeting us or serving us. We sit at the bar and she’ll stay away like she playing defense for Manchester United and then when one of her co workers takes care of us she speak to any new patrons that come in and sit near us. Not sure what that could be but otherwise 5 ⭐️’s.“

“My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit & have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose the Manila Cafe for Mt Laurel, our 116th town.

Manila Cafe is a traditional Filipino grocery store & restaurant with turo-turo ("point-point" in Filipino) style counter service where you point at what you want.

The pancit and pork sisig were great. But the real reason we stopped by was the craving for some halo halo dessert after an unusually warm & sticky September day! Masarap! We also picked up some awesome ube flavored polveron cookies that aren't easy to find, even at other Filipino stores in the state.“

My son enjoyed his ice cream, but I was sadly disappointed with having ordered the hot fudge sunday only to receive vanilla soft serve with chocolate syrup and NOT actual HOT FUDGE, which I was expecting on a $6 hot fudge Sunday. 😞. If I wanted chocolate syrup over soft serve, I would have ordered that. I had an infant with me as well and that's WHY I didn't walk all the way back up from my car with two young kids to see if it could be fixed. I'm not sure I will be returning or able to recommend this place to anyone else. I was surprised because I had seen good reviews on this business but for my first time to have this happen, that wasn't impressive or good at all. 👎☹️“
