John the owner had some great stories and it was a pleasure to shoot the breeze with him. I goot a Mohawk bowl and it did not disappoint the chicken is just spicy enough to not be too much. Mashed and gravy was delicious as well. John gave me a sample of his fried chicken bone in and it was unreal.
Sparta Annex Bakery & Kitchen is hands down one of the best chicken spots around. Even my 6-year-old daughter, who is already a little foodie, agrees — and of course she loved the dessert too. The food was delicious, fresh, and comforting, but what really stood out was how friendly and welcoming the owner was.
