This was the first time we had been to The Sea Crest Grille. It was our wedding anniversary so we were hoping for something a little special. The pictures on the website made the dining area look inviting, but it wasn't ... it was quite spartan, the acousitcs were not good, and there was just no atmosphere. The service was less than average ... we got seated and were given water, and then it was at least 5 minutes until the server came to take our drinks order, and then another...
My husband and I had a reservation for a Saturday evening at 6:15, we both had delicious food. He had the crab cake appetizer and I had the yummy beat salad, he had the sea bass entree with creamy spinach side, I had the branzino. We both had cappuccino with cheese cake as our dessert. From start to finish everything was delicious!!!
Shore Club is trying very hard to get customers. The problem is the food. Our food was completely lacking in flavor. One person had filet mignon. It was perfectly cooked but tasted like no seasoning at all had been used. The other person had pasta with shrimp. Again, absolutely bland. Please get a new chef! We want you to succeed!
