Alen's Deli and Catering

We ordered catering for breakfast and lunch the morning of our wedding. An often overlooked detail, we wanted to make sure that our family didn't pass out in the June heat after not having had any food the morning of our big day.

We ordered two large bagel and muffin platters with juices, fruit, and coffee. And for lunch, we made an order of chicken and veggies. Everything came on time, hot, packaged-well, and delicious. Pricing was reasonable. They delivered to our hotel, the Hilton Short Hills, and there was enough for folks to have their fill. Thank you!

Brought two breakfast sandwiches and Mac salad there this morning my husband and I have been throwing up ever since. Not sure what to think but extremely upset for several reasons. Never experienced this here before. We didn't even finish the snadw9ches a couple bites and it seemed off for both of us. There was an excessive amount of cheese and condiments. The pastrami in my sandwich was non existent. There was an excess of mayo on my sandwich as well. So nearly all of both sandwiches were thrown away and now I've been throwing up violently for several hours! Very upsetting!!!

Lovely family run Deli with a commitment to high quality food the liver pate aka salad is to die for. The sandwiches are lean cut delicious, they have make your own salad and the portions are large. There are a thousand things I want to try on their menu will be a regular customer for sure. I had the white Russian with the 3 salads yesterday and the wrecker a few weeks ago. Their food is super good take a trip to see them today!

Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegetables, roasted vegetables they have lots of different salad options they have salads they have bagels have smoked fish For people who eat fish and their vegetarian diet, they have egg salad for people who continue to eat eggs, but they do have vegan options also and pickled salads are good.

Dietary restrictions: Their menu is huge. I’m sure you can find something if you’re on a diet they even have roasted cauliflower lots of pickles. And everything‘s custom-made so you can ask in advance, and they’ll be happy to oblige

Kid-friendliness: They have a video game there to play and tv

Nice place, I had the brisket sandwich on a roll, side of gravy and coleslaw.Brisket, moist and tasty, great.Homemade slaw and pickle, very nice

I was in the mood for corned beef on rye and decided to give Alen's a chance. The last time I had this craving I went to Deli King in Clark and paid $20 for a good but skimpy sandwich. Alen's sandwich was probably about the same size as the "large" Deli King sandwich. Here though it was $13 which was a great value. The corned beef was excellent and the rye was fresh. When I get this craving I won't hesitate to take a ride to Alen's.

Great food, friendly staff, and lots of parking! I will be recommending Alen's Deli to my family and friends.

My friend and I stopped in, we aren’t from the area. Friendly staff, the gentleman who takes the orders was so nice. I HAD THE BEST TAYLOR HAM AND CHEESE OF MY LIFE HERE. Fresh roll, Perfectly crispy but soft, meat cooked perfectly! I’ll be stopping in anytime I’m in the area!
