I came to Scotty’s one night on a whim for a quick drink before going out with friends. We had only intended on staying there for a drink or two but ended up spending a few hours there. Everyone night they host an open mic, which is free for anyone to watch. If you wanted to perform your only requirement is that you buy two drinks. A coworker who has been into the standup comedy as an amateur invited us for a show in which he was going to be one among less than a dozen comedians. We had a blast, and the food and drinks were very good.
I’ve been coming hear since the 1990’s. It is still a fun place to come for a beer& burger.The tiki bar outside is heaven during warmer temperatures, and The Comedy Club pull in good crowds, and funny Comedians
