The cheesecake and fruit flan were amazing! The cheesecake is rich and decadent and the fruit flan was perfect - not too light but not too rich either. Usually we get a fruit tart from Acme but the fruit flan from Big Apple was much better. They look similar though. The pizza dough was good too - although I didn’t realize they work better as personal size pizza portions instead of a large size.
I’ve had a house in LBI for 13 years and just discovered this amazing bakery a few months ago! Now I make sure to stop in once a week for their strombolis, raviolis, soups and last but not least, the pastries. Soooo good! The staff is super friendly and the prices very reasonable.
This is the Best Bakery in the area hands down!! My married daughter has moved 2 hours away in PA. She has tried 10 Italian bakeries with her husband hoping to find Lobster tails and Napoleon’s that can measure up to this bakery. They all fall short!! Big Apple is the Best!!
