LOL...YOU look up,a good place,to order from, not thinking,that there's an excellent place, in your naboborhood !, An it's "Sal"s Pizzeria" in stanhope.I tried all the others, and Sals, is the one that stands out,above the others, The pizza has the,Great taste,of fresh ingredients.on it, and the home made tomato sauce.that also make it so great.That the others are missing.That makes Sal"s stand out. Being italian, I look for that.All his dinners are great also.I tryed them all. Each dinner he has on his menu, ther all great and, come,with a fresh salad, great warm fresh italian bread.also.I get it delivered to my house,It is still hot! Not warm or cold, like outhers. I recommend "Sal"Pizzeria. It's great, and it right in my naboborhood. Ps. When you call to order and deliver food,there is no rush on the phone. And when your food arrives, there never been, you never,got the right food or not,I have never got a wrong order. The Budd Lake/Netcong area is home to in my opinion, 3 of the best pizzerias in Northwestern New Jersey. Enzo’s on route 46, Carmine’s on Main Street, and of course, the subject of this review, Sal’s on 206 just outside of Netcong. Pizza wise, I would say all three of these places are on an equally delicious playfield. Sal’s is light and crispy, Enzos is sweet and saucy, and Carmine’s is hearty and cheesy, and all three use top-notch authentic Italian ingredients. I got to try the Pasta and sandwiches, I’m sure their excellent as well. But in terms of atmosphere, Sal’s is definitely my favorite. It has an amazing old school neighborhood pizzeria charm as opposed to Enzo’s and Carmine’s, which have more of a busy restaurant atmosphere in comparison. Sal, the owner, is one of the more hands-on and friendly restaurant owners I’ve ever encountered. I look forward to showing my father this place one of these days because Sal’s is definitely the type of old style Italian restaurant and Pizzaria he would enjoy.

The food is always good, the staff are very welcoming and the atmosphere is your typical pizza restaurant. I've had several dinners including chicken franchaise and chicken marsala, which were delicious. There are several varieties of pizza with fresh ingredients, crispy crusts and robust sauces. Hot and cold subs are always spot on. If you are looking for tasty Italian food with generous portions, Sal's is your go to place.
Best food in town. Pizza is alleays good. And nice crust with no flop.Pastas are all very good that I've tried and the seafood fra diavlo is insane. Hot and spicy but perfect. 10 outa 10

Sal's catered my daughter’s graduation party last weekend at the Byram firehouse. The delivery came right on time and the food was nice and hot.We had about 30 people, and they had nothing but good things to say about the food, especially the eggplant parmigiana. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we got. We’ve been customers here for over 20 years and they never disappoint. Highly recommend!!
