Went to Borghi’s for the 1st time last night and it did not disappoint!! The relaxed atmosphere outside was delightful! Homemade meatballs, crab and vodka sauce pasta and eggplant parmigiana were incredible! Great portions and delicious! The service was timely and the server had a nice smile! The owner introduced himself and welcomed us as newcomers. And the homemade pound cake….. well that’s life changing! New fav place in Avalon/Stone Harbor!!!

WOW was it great. There was 6 of us and we had some great dishes: Chilean Sea Bass Seafood combo over paste Lobster FraDiablo - with lobster, shrimp, scallop over pasta....and you could "set" the "heat" level from 1-10 (two of us had it at 7). All 6 meals were great. The seafood portions were huge, sauces were delicious. We topped it off with some of their homemade pound cake for desert (best I've had). All the food was fresh and delicious. Service was great. It was one of our best meals out and a great treat for our time together at the shore. I highly recommend it.
The best Italian down the shore! All house made pasta and you can’t skip on grandma’s famous pound cake for dessert with ice cream. Amazing service & every meal I’ve ever had here has been phenomenal! Love that it’s a family business, dad and son duo! They’re the best!

This place has a lot of charm and the servers and owner are exceptionally welcoming and accommodating and prompt. The owner answers the phone personally when you call - love that.
The food has some high and low marks. Salad is nothing fancy and you’re served a bottle of water rather than a glass which is a little bizarre but certainly not unsafe or bad quality I suppose. Just odd. It’s BYOB as many places are in this area- keep that in mind.
This place measures up locally, and for a really friendly vibe and pretty good food you should totally come here. It has way less pretension than some other spots nearby and frankly similar quality food - at lower or similar prices. That’s cool and I can appreciate that. It’s not trying to win awards in NYC- different environment here.
Not many seats indoors and a few on patio, so call ahead to reserve rather than just waltzing in - especially during busier summer season. Parking is easy on residential streets within 1-2 mins walk.

Forget the joints on Third. This is Stone Harbor's new secret. Fine cuisine elegantly prepared. Excellent menu. Fine service. Kudos to the chef. I can't say enough about how good the sea bass, the rose gnocchi, the house salad....everything was exceptional!!!Bravo, Borgia!!

Each time we come from Montreal to Stone Harbor by plane or car we make it a highlight of our visit to dine at Borghi’s. Dino Borghi is a culinary chef of extraordinary talent. Starting with homemade meatballs and steamed clams as appetizers the 5 of us ordered his famous seafood combo (3), lobster raviolis and rigatoni bolognese. The discussion turned to who made the best choice and it was decided that the only way that could be settled was to come for dinner another time! Dino Borghi came to greet us while we were sharing his Mom’s incomparable pound cake and ice cream. BBTB is a not to miss Stone Harbor treat.

From the best hand breaded mozzarella sticks I've ever had right through arguably the best chicken parmesan in the northeast and a desert I cannot put into words, Borghi's will leave you in a state of bliss.
