We had a very nice meal at Chanterelle as my wife and I celebrated our Anniversary. The restaurant was a perfect place for a quiet meal even on a Friday evening at the end of the Summer. I had the Surf and Turf (Crab Cake and Filet) that was excellent. My wife had the Duck and while it was good, it really wasn’t “crispy” as stated on the menu. Our server, Natasha, was outstanding. Very attentive and so personable. I would go back to the restaurant just to have her as our server again.

Owner needs to become a bit more customer friendly when every table makes a difference to the bottom line and survival. For instance requiring a credit card guarantee to make a reservation in September when high season is over is silly or asleep at the wheel.

There are a few exceptional restaurants on the island and Chanterelle is one of them. Restaurant staff was so nice to everyone. Service was very friendly and efficient. Food was as good as the top few restaurants on the island. I have enjoyed Wagu A5 at several restaurants and the A5 served to me was the best! Excellent pasta and crab appetizer. If you are looking for an intimate setting to enjoy a night out with your friends Chanterelle is the place. Great food, service, staff. Carlton

What a cozy, beautifully decorated restaurant in Stone Harbor! Outstanding food and exceptional service. Perfect location at the end of the main road with a parking lot next door and a wine & spirits store 2 doors down (it’s a BYOB). Opted for the Chef’s Tasting Menu and it’s definitely the way to go! Absolutely gorgeous variety of flavors and preparations all pulled together to allow you to enjoy every course and bite. The chef tasting menu tonight featured a few of the courses on the regular menu, so if you just want one course definitely order either the Rare Seared Yellowfin Tuna, or the Crab Orecchiette pasta or the House Cut NY Prime Strip- all AMAZING! Honestly every single course and bite was AMAZING! Service was friendly at just the right amount of attentive from the hostesses, the food runners (who all explained each dish beautifully) and a special acknowledgment to Natalia- she is a gem and made the evening even brighter. Definitely go…can’t wait to go back!

Wow. We were expecting so much based on reviews. Food was good, not great. My duck was so tough, I had to saw it to make it bite sized. Other appetizers and mains were very good. Service was fine. For the prices, we would have expected a much better experience. They tried to sit us at a table by the bathroom. Thankfully, they let us select another table. The table clothes were wrinkled. Our table rocked so much my husband had to get down in the floor to put something underneath the leg so our drinks didn't spill. Not what we were expecting. Disappointing.

Had an excellent experience for our anniversary at Chanterelle. Our server, Natasha, was amazing. Venison and steak came out a perfect Medium Rare. The vegetables accompanying our dishes were also cooked perfectly, not overdone.
