Awesome fried flounder and the corn on the cob was cooked perfectly. Generous portions and our server was very sweet and attentive.
The food was Excellent and Mia our waitress was as good as it gets. Highly recommend !
Food lacking flavor and portion very small and not as represented. Kitchen couldn’t serve us all together and one dinner arrived long after the rest. Not the fault of the service staff. The place is just worn out and not worth a visit for dinner.
Breakfast is incredible, a little slow but worth the wait.
I wanted to get oysters to go on July 4th. I stopped by in the morning to make sure that they would have some later in the day. They took my order and had it ready when scheduled. They added horse radish for me. They were polite and friendly. The price was very reasonable. Definitely coming back.
We always went to Donna’s Place years ago and it was always good but this time it was horrible. The service was poor and slow even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was bad as well. The clam chowder was tasteless. The fried combo had a piece of flounder that was like cardboard. The corn on the Cobb and the fried scallops were tasteless as well. Six diners, $ 180 plus tips; what a waste.
It is the price vs quality that is off. $14 for a small cone and a small slice of tasteless stale cake. Sad. Never ever was like this before. It’s depressing. Employees are great. Place is clean. Stick to the donuts.
Excellent service. Food was great. Liked red fish chowder. Wife had flounder, and i had scallops. Both lightly seasoned and melt in your mouth. Atmosphere is beach home spun...nice!
Busy local seafood restaurant. Service is pleasant but slow due to staff shortages. Portions are small but normal for the shore and somewhat pricey which is also typical for Stone Harbor.
I’ve been going to donna’s many many years yes it’s hit or miss on quality and service but it is beach food lobster roll ehee lotta mayo little lobster but I’ll still keep going there supporting local small business the only thing that gets me is the response to bad reviews seems a little over the top and rude you should read your responses it doesn’t put a good light on Donna’s peace be with you

I stopped by the bakery over the weekend. I ordered 2 pieces of crumb buns and 2 donuts. I was charged $16! When I questioned the insane price I was told all bakery items are now $4 each. The donuts are very tiny for $4. They were good but unfortunately I will not be back again. I understand costs have gone up but that is just taking advantage of the customer.
Going to Donna’s is a tradition in our family when coming to the shore. The donuts are delicious! That being said the service is TERRIBLE! The wait is unnecessarily long and the servers are down right rude! If you go, you MUST ask them to place your donuts flat! Otherwise they all stick together and melt all over one another. If the donuts weren’t so delicious I would never go back!
