Food has gone downhill in the last year or two while the prices of course have gone up. Soup is $10!!! I had crab bisque soup. It didn't look like crab bisque. It didn't taste like crab bisque. It was lukewarm with too much pepper. My friend enjoyed her French onion soup. We shared the pulled pork sandwich which came with chips. They were burnt. 👎🏻👎🏻

Hostess Told us (two African Americans) a ten minute wait even tho there was many tables open and then proceeded to seat three sets of families as we waited nearby watching . Why take a persons number to never call for a table opening ? Will Not be returning , very racist and rude !

Being open to the air and delivering prompt service with respect to movie times definitely wins HBB some points - but the overall food quality is not quite there to earn 5 stars. It’s bar fare with lots of burger options and obviously mega convenience to the theater — probably exactly what lots of people need.
Definitely a step above casual fare so credit where due, but it’s edging toward prices that really should suggest gourmet.
(Although it’s rare for many to care these days, big points for excellent air circulation since they leave the whole front open to the street.)

I recently went to the Burger Bar with my boyfriend and we decided to sit at the bar. It took the bartender, Hilton, 30 minutes to greet us and ask what we wanted to order, meanwhile, the restaurant was EMPTY. One of the managers, Kath, was sitting at the bar on her laptop, and didn't do anything to help speed up our service. We finally placed our order at the bar and Kath went into the kitchen and immediately started screaming at the workers. We couldn't make out what she was saying, but it was not right and definitely not how a manger should be talking to the people who are making the restaurant work. It was very inappropriate and it brought the overall atmosphere down. She then walked out of the kitchen with a meal at sat back down at the bar and was eating until we left. We were there for about an hour and a half. When we got up to leave she was still just sitting at the bar. The owners seriously need to reconsider who they are letting manage their restaurants. I felt so bad for the workers. Hope this helps!

If you want to pay for a 28$ dollar burger this the place for you. Food is mid and overpriced. Gross and not managed booths. 4 burgers is 120$ plus the added 20% tip. I highly don’t recommend.

Great service and good food! Burgers are excellent. The crab cake was good but there was more bun than crab cake. Our server was friendly and service was quick! Plenty of staff.

Went at early dinner time and they were out of french fries. I mean, it’s a burger place…french fries are a must. At $20 for a basic burger with chips, I expected more.
Place should be embarrassed to call it self a burger bar, had a basic burger, asked medium rare came out medium well, absolutely no flavor. My son's mother had a bison burger completely overcooked. Also soggy, oily, truffle fries. Made it even better to watch a table sat down AFTER and next to us get served before us. 115$ for two terrible burgers and a kids burger. Two adult beverages, and very average fried mozzarella, with marinara that tastes like the tin can it came out of. Never go back again
