Best ice cream place in Stone Harbor, Avalon Nj

The first time I went to Springer's I almost turned back after I saw the line coming out of the door and spilling onto the sidewalk almost all the way to the corner. I am so glad I didn't! What an ice cream place! The flavors are so good, and the staff are so friendly even as they blaze through person after person to get you in and out of the door. If you are visiting Stone Harbor, you have to make sure to stop in here before you leave!

Such a nice and friendly staff and terrific ice cream! I walked in and saw so many people so I was preparing my kids for a long wait. To my surprise a minute or 2 later we were ordering and we were completely done within 5 minutes. Easy process to get orders and complete them even with a lot of people.

Worth the wait in line in the summertime. Best icecream you will ever have, you can thank me later. If you want to avoid the line at night, get the icecream during the day (afternoon) - either way, you HAVE to try it. Best ice cream of my life.

REALLY don't appreciate the attitude problem people. Look, I know people today are exceedingly lazy in service environments, but I'm either too old, tired, or just plain sick of attitude problems. Your staff SUCKS!!! In terms of product, it sucks that a single scoop now entails a recessed amount of ice cream into a waffle cone. Unreal, $7, you want a tip on top of this, charge extra for a cc, tax, and a scoop that basically invisible to the naked eye. Insulting.

Crazy long line, but worth the wait. They are the chick Fil a of ice cream shops when it comes to logistics and efficiency. They have a solid system for churning customers through and still provide great service while they do it. Highly recommend. Don’t be intimated by the line. It moves quickly. And the ice cream is very. very good.

Don’t get what all the fuss is about… got the almond amaretto and it tasted like vanilla soft serve; my size small had 2 almonds and barely a hint of amaretto flavor. underwhelmed! Price: $18.75 for a large and small cup
