Call ahead and order the Key Lime Pie, it is insanely delicious. We always fly in from California to visit my in-laws in Avalon and celebrate my husband’s birthday. Poor guy hasn’t had a good birthday cake in almost 10 years so I decided to call on our way from the airport to order his birthday pie.
This key lime pie has the best graham cracker crust with the perfect texture, the filling is just the right amount of creamy lime deliciousness, not too sweet and not too sour. Topped with fresh whipped cream that perfectly balances out the sweetness of the pie. We loved it so much that I ordered a strawberry & blueberry pie to try before we fly home. Pretty sure this is going to be our new tradition when we come visit now :)

I called to order a cake for my milestone birthday and they would not take my order with some excuses. Hard to understand how they can operate a business in this fashion. Most businesses work around the clock 24/7. I will not be contacting them again. Placed an order at walmart instead.

Amazing baked and specific food preordered for pickup. This is not a dine in food experience. The coconut cake, the key lime pie and peach pie are made from the freshest ingredients. The crab cakes, the ham and holiday catering are delicious.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your event or special occasion. The Painted Pie created the cakes for my daughter's wedding in Stone Harbor in October, 2022. We decided to have a regular sized cake for the bride and groom and "side cakes" to be sliced by the caterer for our guests. First of all.... this baker is an artist. His cakes are on another level. The bride and groom wanted the carrot cake, which is a nut-free, raisin-free creation with an orange cream cheese icing. Beyond delicious. The carrot and pineapple in the cake are macerated, so the cake has a sophisticated crumb to it; not the typical chunky carrot cake. The side cakes were chocolate with vanilla butter icing. Perhaps the best chocolate cake I've ever had. An intense chocolate flavor without being overly sweet. We were very impressed with the The Painted Pie!

We called Painted Pie a few days before a 60 person party and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. Guided us on the right amount of food to order and dropped it off right on time. The food was excellent, can’t go wrong if you are looking to feed a large party!

Got last minute catering from here. I can not recommend this enough, their service and ability to help at the last minute was top notch. Family run business, went out of their way to deliver a great meal. Crab cakes were to die for!
