Loved it!! It's the off season, yet there were still a good amount of patrons inside...which goes to show you how good it is! I got the Crabcake sandwich with bacon and my BF got the Tuna Poke Bowl...both very good!

The Hull is known for their fish tacos and their reputation is well-deserved. We had tacos with Mahi Mahi that were moist and delicious. We added a side of Plantains that were lightly browned and oh so sweet.
Our server was friendly and efficient, but not intrusive. We will be back.

We have been to the Watering Hull a couple of times. The food has been very good. The oysters were very good. The bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp was excellent, especially the marmalade sauce. The atmosphere is very comfortable and beachy.
We just went to dinner here and let me tell you the appetizer was supposed to be hot and it was cold. They brought us another one and it was hot on top but cold through the middle. Then we ordered our entrees which took 55 minutes to arrive and they were cold! We talked to the manager and she made us pay full price and we ate only the appetizer! Shame on the watering hull. I do not recommend them at all!

Had a very nice dinner with my family here. They were very accommodating to our 13 person party. Food , drink, atmosphere. Very pleasant staff.
Kid-friendliness: We had 6 children in our party. No one went away hungry.

My party of 3 waited 45 mins to get a table. Once seated, we waited an 1 1/2 for our entrees. A drink came out soo strong of tequila, it had to be sent back. Our appetizer of “spinach artichoke dip” came out cold, was not the dip it was described as, and just was soupy. While waiting for entrees, we saw multiple air conditioning vents leaking water from walls on to customers/tables. The customers were never moved while employee came with giant mop to clean the vents on the wall, customers were left sitting at tables with food. Customers were given rags to dry off table and themselves. One hostess was rude to a customer when they rightfully complained about having the vent leak onto children. It was SO cold inside, no wonder the air vents were leaking. People were wearing coats inside! Once food came, not impressed at all. My mashed potatoes were dry with no flavor, not even some butter. Asparagus was dry tasteless and over cooked as well.
The food and entire experience were not worth the money spent. Really felt like a Friday night wasted. No complaints of server himself. He did the best he could with the circumstances.

Game over... I found the best burger in Stone Harbor / Avalon. I get that The Watering Hull is known for its chowder - I had a bowl and it was awesome - but damn, the candied bacon on their signature burger was absolutely phenomenal. The rest of our crew had Mahi and Shrimp tacos and loved them too, but don't sleep on the burger, I'm telling you. The onion rings are really good too. We will be back!!!
