Outside beach bar: Great view and amazing drinks put the order in took an hour and half for store bought maybe room temp chicken fingers, nachos, and chicken sandwich Inside bar: good service/amazing bartenders Outside bar: pack to the gills with people hard to move around order 30 chicken wings that were cold, and decent calamari for the price I would not do again With the new management it hard to get a table or anything from kitchen with a beer possibly taking half an hour after you put the drink in. The premium prices that they serve does not match food or view. You are best served finding something else a short distance away to eat then maybe comming back. Personally will not be going back
View was amazing. Service not good. Food was cold and no waitress available to help. I have no problem paying for good food, but $80 for 2 people and the food was not good and cold. When she finally came over we were ready to leave.
Amazing atmosphere, great service and absolutely delicious food. Worth a drive from anywhere along the south Jersey shore.
drinks great our waiter not good we work in service industry so very tolerable but he never checked on us kept making excuses when he did finally come to our table food ok
Great spot a little $$$$ Good food.
The good news is that the Deauville has experienced an amazing makeover. The building has been refreshed, the patio expanded, the beach re-purposed as an expanded service area, and the docks totally replaced (multiple dock hands included). They even bought out a small breakfast place to get additional parking spaces. This has resulted in an impressive bar crowd--especially on hot summer days. The bad news is they forgot to expend a balanced amount of their budget on their kitchen staff, notably a chef. The menu focuses, by and large, on bar food with an overabundance of the deep fried offerings. The balance of their items are frequently both over cooked and over priced. Cocktails are a bit pricy as well (mid teens). If only there were minus Michelin star ratings... The sad part is that the Deauville is wasting a perfect setting. Great water views and even sunsets. The success a more serious restaurant could make! Apparently the owners have their priorities -- too bad, I would have become a regular!
Missed breakfast had lunch. The food and service were both very good. The waiter was great.

Used to be a fun casual bar on the bay with decent food. The place is fixed up now and looks nice but the food is awful and way overpriced! As a local for 50 years I’m never going back.
This was our second visit to Deauville Inn, and both times, the food was great and the setting is beautiful. We sat outside right on the water with a lovely view. We had corn ribs, oysters, chicken wings and salad with a couple of specialty cocktails. Everything was delicious-- a nice dining experience.
This establishment was always a fun place to go with friends and the end of the Summer season to catch the first week or two of Eagles football. Yesterday was not one of those times. We took advantage of their prime real estate sand sat out back. The game was on the TVs but we were told by several staff members that the "manager" would not turn off the music to focus on the game. Keep in mind that almost all of the patrons were dressed in football gear! As we watched the first few tables leave, we chose to stay until half time, then our group left and took our business elsewhere. Music eventually turned off but the TVs were impossible to hear. Last year, it was THE place to be at this time of year. I am sure that the "manager"is good at many things, however, making customers happy and doing what is best for the house is not one of them.

The beach bar is so overpriced for frozen chicken patties slapped onto a stale piece of bread. The owner claims to have good taste and style and the food is a joke. The atmosphere is fantastic except you’re paying $19 dollars for Stolli vodka drinks. Save your money and eat at a real restaurant. Bring back the taco box if you want real customers.
Beautiful views and good food We started with calamari which was decent then shared the wedge salad (excellent), seared tuna sandwich(excellent) scallops (very good). Service was good as they we’re busy. Mixed drinks fair. Beer cold and good.
This is a nice place to watch the sunset go down with a great local beer or cocktail. You can also watch a game at the bar or in the pub on one of the many tv screens. They have three areas: the bar, pub and dining room. We had a few beers in the bar while waited for our table and watched a Phillies game. They do get busy at sunset and don’t take reservations. There was a mix up and they gave away our table in the pub to someone else so we were seated eventually in the dining room - no tv screens - but we were allowed to order from the all day menu. I had the local fresh oysters - 5 types in various sizes which was very good. After that I ate the shrimp po ‘ boy sandwich which was good with fries with more beer! Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal: chicken tenders, hot wings, blackened salmon bowl, cheesesteak sandwich and beer mussels. The bull came to $220 for 6 plus tip which wasn’t bad. The only strange thing was the waiter didn’t offer any sweet, which we wouldn’t have had but neither any coffee which on reflection would have been welcome for the three hour drive home.
Beautiful view but severely lacking with rest of service and food. Our drinks were good but took a long time. We ordered a seafood tower for appetizer and it was great so we were really looking for to our main course. Well the waiter only brings the drinks then you never see him again. It is all food runners that bring the food. The main courses were so hard and over cooked we couldn't eat. (prime rib dip, filet and our friend both ordered lobster rolls.) It was like we were in 2 different restaurants. The tower was great and the rest was inedible. We spoke to manager and he said thanks for letting me know?! That's it. They don't give a crap because the place will continue to be crowded with subpar food because of view. It's a disservice.
This was our one night out during our shore week and enjoyed it very much. Great variety on the menu. We ordered a few appetizers to share (calamari, lobster fritters and the soft pretzels. Didn't love the lobster fritters (just tasted like dough) but everything else was great. I enjoyed the double lobster tails which were outstanding. Pleasant waitstaff. Beautiful sunset.
