“My family and I had frequented La Fontana (Strathmere) for over 20 years. What drew us back for some time was the humbleness of fine Italian food mixed with genuinely kind and low keyed charismatic servers. There was unfortunately a shift in management. Our relationship with La Fontana changed. Our final dinner at La Fontana (Strathmere) ended with the general restaurant manager having an explosive fit directed toward two life long friends in their mid-80s.”

“Whoever the amazing woman was who took my take out order tonight over the phone was the best! I ordered a Cesear salad and potato leek soup. I told her it was favorite and we quickly shared some laughs and she gave me the best tips on what to eat with (great recommendations btw lol) and was just so kind and bubbly. The food was on point ! “I highly recommend this Greek restaurant. Both meals were very flavorful, filling, and well priced. Everything was fresh and well prepared. We got the Gyro, which came with an excellent Greek salad. We also got a corned beef Reuben, which came with fries. An adaption was made to the sauce on the Reuben and substituted with something preferred. Hummus and pita bread was also served as a part of the meal. Kyma, dessert place across the street, just opened a few few weeks ago. That is also affiliated with this restaurant. They had samples while we were waiting, and those items were excellent too. Location is a very cute area of town on Asbury Avenue.”

“Chanterelle BYOB. is definitely a up and coming fine dining experience. if you have followed Chef Jeremy Palumbo from PSI to Swine Bar to Provence and now to Chanterelle. you know that his culinary excellence will leave the colors plated to perfection on your plate and the taste of his culinary excellence exploding on your palet. the restaurant Is beautifully decorated with a calm and soothing atmosphere. the staff was excellent at their jobs and showed pride in their work . I would highly recommend this new establishment on 96th St in Stone Harbor. I have to give it 5 stars .”

“I am a Kindergarten teacher in Millville and we decided to take the whole grade level to the beach for a field trip. I reached out to the Churn House asking if they could accommodate our K students and they did not hesitate at all. They opened their ice cream shop early just for our school to enjoy. They made the students huge homemade ice cream sandwiches that were absolutely delicious! Communication was beyond superb and we will be using them again!! Thank you so much for making our kiddos beach day special!!”

“When I am at the shore and I think seafood, I think Back Bay Seafood. Honestly, best crab cakes I ever had. And let’s not forget the broiled scallops, and stuffed shrimp, and the list goes on! Amazing food, high quality, and excellent customer service. Not to mention, family-owned business that appreciates their customers and are dedicated to providing quality meals, the kind you eat with your friends and family and make those down-the-shore memories. Can’t say enough good things about Back Bay, except I’ll be back real soon!”

“The ice cream sandwich is good. I enjoyed picking my cookies and ice cream. However, they do not have as much ice cream as the pictures on their Facebook account or at the store. I'm hoping that is because they are training and it will get better. I will give them another chance. Margate”
