We had a wonderful family dinner celebration at La Fontana Del Mare. It was my first visit to this restaurant, and everything was absolutely top notch. We sat on the covered patio on a warm, October evening. The Calamari and Octopus appetizers were outstanding; some members of our group thought the Octopus was as good as any they'd had outside of Greece. All of the salads and pasta dishes were delightful and perfectly prepared. My only disappointment was with the Langostinos, which are described on the menu as "grilled large mediterranean shrimp." In my ignorance, I assumed these would literally be *large shrimp*. In fact, they look (and taste) more like miniature lobsters, and are about as much of a pain to eat as crabs. I have no complaint with the preparation, but I would not order this again. I only wish I had known what I was ordering, because I would have happily chosen something else. I would respectfully suggest that the menu be updated with a more informative description. That quibble aside, it was an excellent meal. The service was outstanding throughout, despite our having a large group and the restaurant being quite busy. I would not hesitate to return; in fact, I look forward to doing so.

This place is right down the street from my work at tigon golf carts. I go here often to meet the family after I get off. Food is good and the staff is awesome.

Another very enjoyable dinner. The service plus the delicious meal really made our evening.

The food was delicious . I'd go back for the food. Unfortunately, it was very loud and we had to raise our voices to be heard.

Food was good. Place was crowded and loud. Had to wait for the owner to get off the phone before he seated us then waited another 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table to bring some stale bread and take our order. Entrees were very good.

We sat on the porch at a wonderful table by the window and enjoyed everything about the restaurant

Great service, delicious food, this place hits a home run! Generous portions where we struggled to finish every wonderful bite (which we did!) I will highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends, and hope to enjoy it with them!

We were able to get a reservation, and we were promptly seated upon arrival. Restaurant was very busy. Seemed a little stretch with staffing and we waited awhile to order and get bread but as usual the food was outstanding!!!! Only downsize was recognition of our anniversary was not made. Thank you

Great experience and Franklin is very attentive. We had someone in our party who is gluten free and we were very surprised at the GF friendly pasta option. Will definitely be back.

Excellent food! A bit on the expensive side but we both had very good meals and over heard other people saying the same. We sat outside and a few tables are a little tight but we enjoyed our spot.

Food was good but waiter acted as if he had anything better to do then wait on us. Speaking very quickly and looking around the restaurant while telling us the specials, became annoyed when asked to repeat.
