Placed an order over the phone. Drove all the way to pick up and was told order wasn’t there. Turns out they canceled the order. The girl who took the order placed a substitute that wasn’t possible so they canceled it. Would have been nice to have been notified.
Italian restaurant with NO BREAD
We had an incredibly disappointing and disturbing experience at this restaurant. From the start, there were flies landing in our food, absolutely unacceptable for any dining establishment, especially one charging premium prices. Our bill came to nearly $500, and despite bringing up the issue, the staff made no effort to address it. No apology, no discount, not even basic acknowledgment.
But it got worse. As we were leaving, one of the staff members called the police on us, falsely accusing us of drinking and driving. Yes, I had a drink, but our designated driver was completely sober. responsible and clear headed. The accusation was not only false, it was outrageous and felt like pure retaliation.
I’ve never felt so disrespected or shocked after dining out. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the insult. This place doesn’t deserve your business.
Sat outside and was eaten Alive by mosquitos. I had chicken piccata. Angel hair was under cooked and “gluey” and very little sauce. The other entrees were specials halibut was bland and just tasted like fish in marinara. Disappointing. The calamari was tasty.
We enjoyed dining here last nite!! Food was good ,service was also good. Storm came in and windows were shut quickly so all in all a great nite👍
It was Farher's Day so you have to expect service was not up to par. It took 20 minutes for the waiter to get to our table and take our order. We had to ask the bus person to bring us water and he just plopped it on the table and didn't pour it. We also asked for bread but that never arrived. We did get our food quickly and it was tasty. Over all, food good but service not so good.
For some reason, we prefer this location over any other La Fontana's in the area. They don't over book, the food is better, the outdoor porch is nicer, and the service is great!
Nice restaurant with decent atmosphere. Waitstaff tries to be very professional, the way one would see on a fine dining establishment. They fell short. It's the little things, timing, offering clean flatware after a red sauce appetizer for a non red sauce entre. Entre almost inedible due to over salting. $29.00 way overpriced. My husband's entre pasta Amatriciana was the best he ever had. Thus inconsistent. Might return but would choose other options. We are foodies. We travel and are fussy. Give it a try, but be prepared for ??????.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Our server Edward was incredibly kind, caring, and provided excellent service—always attentive without being intrusive. The highlight of the meal was the sacchetti pasta, which was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Between the warm hospitality and the amazing food, I’ll definitely be coming back!
Always good food and service (just don’t forget to bring your bottle of wine!). A must stop when you’re at the shore.

Great Italian food. The veal parm was great.
We had a great meal again! Food was fresh and delicious. Because we just got back from Italy, we were hoping for fresh parmigiana but it was still very good

Expensive for average food. Veal chop tough and pasta salty.
I specifically asked for a quiet table away from restrooms and the wait staff station for two people due to a hearing problem. I also said we were celebrating a special occasion, but nobody ever asked what that was. I don't think the host even read the request/message, because we were seated next to both the restrooms and weight staff station, and a loud air conditioning fan motor which created a very cold draft on us. When I asked if we could move to a table that two people just left, there was push back until I mentioned that I had asked for the above when making the reservation on Open Table. The fruit flies were a major problem there. They were flying around us and crawling into the vinegar that was left on the table. I was so happy I didn't bring any wine, because it just would've been worse. I asked the waitress to remove the vinegar, but some flies remained and flew around the food My bread plate had a chip out of it and one of the water glasses had a lipstick stain on it. The waitress was very nice and attentive, so I gave her a 25% tip. She took care of the issues, but they shouldn't have been there in the first place. The food was delicious though. I rated it a 3 , because the ambience, etc. was not good.
