Very tasty panini style sandwich! Cute cafe with ample seating and a really nice menu. Good variety of both veggie and non-veggie items. Friendly service and fair prices!

What a charming cafe! We had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, who was delightful and really took an interest in us. It truly added a special touch!

We popped in to grab some lunch. Batavia Cafe was just what we needed! We had a half-turkey club (made with house-roasted turkey!), chicken & sausage jambalaya, salad, and turkey soup with barley and vegetables. Everything was delicious!

We left with chocolate chip cookies and banana bread baked by the owner. I don’t normally eat dessert, but these baked goods were flavorful and not too sweet. The cookies were the best I’d ever tasted, and I ate each bite slowly. Lots of top-quality chocolate in a cookie reminiscent of a vanilla malt. The texture of the banana bread was perfect, and unlike most banana breads, his version did not taste of overripe bananas. It was more like a spice cake.

Tasty, healthy food; nice people; a lovely atmosphere, lively but quiet enough for conversation; and a clean bathroom — what more could you ask for?

Loved my experience here! I got a breakfast sandwich and some cookies, and everything tasted so fresh and homemade. The service was amazing too, Brenda was super helpful and went out of her way to recommend items and make sure my order was perfect. The whole vibe is cozy and welcoming. Definitely coming back soon!

The driest omelette ever. Waffle house does better than this.
It's a good place to sit down and relax though.

I have been coming to Batavia for over a year now. My favorite is the turkey club but sometimes I get the salmon salad. Always great service!

The cashier is on the phone all the time.

Edit: you can see how professional they are with the response to my review. I don’t know what they drink or smoke (?) but I am a customer too and I don’t know anything about their doordash thing. I think the owner just likes to lie. Because after checking their reviews here I found that mostly good reviews are fake. Check their Yelp reviews. They have such a bad rating there because they can’t manipulate that app. And people are complaining about this place a lot. However this place is not gonna survive for a longtime in this neighborhood with this dishonest and unkind business model. Good luck.

Workers are so rude and it takes to order forever. The restaurant looks ok from outside but the inside is a disaster. Sticky floors with dirty tables and a couple of flies everywhere. This place shouldn’t be in Summit.

My colleagues and I go to Batavia several times a month. The menu is well above average in variety and artisanship compared to other spots in the area. Food preparation is expert and very clean. What keeps us coming back is the friendliness of the staff and owners -- all good people.

My wife, son and I came for lunch. She had a great salad with marinated chicken and my son had tasty Chicken Caesar Wrap.

It was nice as I was able to order an omelette after 12. It was excellent.

Picking up orders through Doordash at this store is terrible, you wait a long time and it's never ready, if I could delete this store from Doordash I would.

Top notch food in a great food town. Soups made fresh daily, sandwiches made with Balthazar bread, and delicious fresh salads with chicken or Salmon as protein options. Caring and attentive staff.

We happened to stumble to this wonderful cafe in Summit yesterday. I had a sandwich and soup and they were delicious. My wife had special salad and she said it's the best salad she had ever had. Wish that we live closer to Summit so we can come more often.
