The food tastes ok. But the wait time is too long. We only ordered 2 things, and they messed up the order 3 times. It's a bit unacceptable. The sandwich was supposed to be with focaccia bread, but it came with regular bread. The toast came out wrong. When we returned it, they apologized and made us new one. But it was supposed to have multigrain toast, the new one came with white toast instead. Since the waiting was so long, we didn't ask for exchange again. Will not go back.

Ordered from this place on Doordash to try it for the first time and it did not disappoint at all. Yeah it may be pricy though the quality and freshness of the food is exceptional especially the soup. The chicken noodle soup tasted phenomenally delicious plus the chicken aioli sandwich was satisfying especially for lunch. Definitely plan on ordering from here every now and then.

We had my son’s first birthday party at Batavia on January 6th, 2024. We were so delighted with how everything turned out and the guests had an amazing time! We had access to the entire space for the party and comfortably fit over 50 people. We also hired an outside entertainer for the kids who made balloons, danced and did face painting and there was plenty of space for that as well. Mayron and his team were fabulous and planned every detail with us and were amenable to all of our requests. They catered and served the entire meal and we had numerous guests tell us how delicious the food was. There was plenty of food for everyone and we even had leftovers as well. It’s a BYO and they provided wine glasses and set up a beautiful bar area for easy self-service. We were able to decorate the space how we wanted and had access to the space a whole hour before the party and all day to drop things off the day of the party. Also, they stored our cake and helped us cut it for all guests and clean and pack it up at the end. They even kindly held some balloons for us until we could pick them up a week later. We would highly recommend this gorgeous venue and wonderful staff for all parties and private occasions!!!

Just love this cozy, local and welcoming spot! It's so hard to find healthy meals with variety to keep you going for the week, yet Batavia cafe never disappoints. We know we can get freshly made salads and homemade soup, with in season produce from the local markets. For the evenings when we simply need a break, the family meals are a lifesavers. The GF peanut butter chocolate cookies as treats, freshly made, quality and guilt-free! Very accommodating staff and service, the perfect neighborhood cafe in Summit!

Love this place for lunch! Amazing salads, delicious soups, and yummy sandwiches and wraps. Plus they have great tea and sweets including gluten free treats. And even more: I love the artsy rustic feel inside (though you can eat outdoors too when the weather is nice).Vegetarian options: There are plenty of ways to eat vegetarian here.Dietary restrictions: Always gluten free options!
