Really wanted to like this place as we are fans of the Greek cuisine. Ordered gyro entrees for takeout for the whole family.The gyro meat was completely dry. Probably sat on the warmer for hours. Rice was good, veggies were good, service was good but the meat was mediocre at best. Very disappointed for a $70+ order.

I’m a healthcare worker, and this was my go to spot to eat during lunch for a quick bite and would tell my coworkers to go as well. However after my experience with the Arab manager with a cane I will not be returning. He was extremely racist and sexist and insulting.Also when he is there the quality of food drops significantly. He treats women likethey have no rights and he told me he couldn’t hear me when I was ordering and so I spoke louder for him and he started yelling at me and accusing me of yelling at him and told me “because YOU are ordering YOU ONLY GET THIS as an option that’s It”I left. He lost my business and my coworkers.

The food is solid. Had a falafel sandwich and hummus. They both were very good. My daughter and son had chicken and beef shawarma sandwiches and enjoyed them. The server was very sweet and kind and took good care of us. We are used to the location in Metuchen which is nicer inside. The seating was rather pedestrian. I think they were having problems with their exhaust, as there was an unpleasant smoke from the grill wafting in the air. Next time, takeout.Vegetarian options: Falafels, salad, hummus and other apps
