It was great! Food was incredibly fresh and authentic. Great place and location!

Calimari (and everything else I've tried there so far) is amazing, but everything at Rosalita's is outrageously overpriced. If it was more reasonably priced, I'd eat here weekly. Unfortunately, my co-workers and I instead end up eating here once every other month because it's hard to justify throwing away so much money for a good lunch when you can get pretty good food in ten other places nearby for a third of the cost.

We have been here twice for lunch now. The food is authentic Mexican and very good. The portions are generous without being overwhelming. The food is nicely presented with a modern aesthetic. Price is average for the area, reasonable for what you get. Items such as the tortillas as made onsite and where good enough that my better half who grew up in Mexico City wanted to know what brand they where. The tortillas had a generous amount of steak and lightly seasoned which did well for the flavor. The flan was a bit bland though and took a star away as they had run out of two other desserts.

Growing up in California, and having gone attending cooking classes in Oaxaca, it's hard to find really good, authentic Mexican food in New Jersey. While Rosalita makes a good effort, it is still only an approximation. Nice restaurant ambient and cheerful service, but if you're looking for the real thing, keep looking.

Friendly service, modern decor, excellent flavors. High quality ingredients elevate standard fare. If your favorite Mexican restaurant is Taco Bell, you'll be surprised. Mexico is a large country where regions express originality through their cuisines. It's similar to how in the U.S. BBQ is different in NC than in TX. We loved our meals and can't wait to return.
