The food was abysmal! I would only order the side of stacked potatoes if I go there again which I wont!
Exceptional food and service.

Summit House has all the trappings of a great date night spot: a nice interior, decent food, and a good location. However, the experience is severely undercut by a baffling lack of hospitality and poor seating management.
We were excited for a romantic evening, but the minute we were seated, the “romance” was out the window. Despite the dining room being conspicuously empty (and I mean truly empty), the host staff inexplicably placed another couple directly next to us—even though we had been seated first. Instead of giving them literally any of the dozens of open tables, they were dropped right on top of us. This is not NYC where space is at a premium; this is New Jersey, with plenty of room to spread people out. It felt as if we were sharing a booth or, as I described it to my partner, “sitting in their lap.” We could hear every word of their conversation, and they could certainly hear ours. It was jarring, awkward, and completely ruined the mood we were hoping for.
The food was generally okay—nothing to write home about, but certainly edible. The service was also just okay; our server was efficient enough, but not particularly warm or attentive.
Ultimately, the lack of spatial awareness and basic consideration for guest comfort is inexcusable, especially when the restaurant has so much unused real estate. The cumulative effect is that the total ambiance and hospitality stink. Summit House needs a serious re-evaluation of its front-of-house philosophy if they want to be considered a premier destination. We won’t be back for a date night—or any night—anytime soon.

My friend and I got together for dinner at this restaurant! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a very nice restaurant and was greeted and sat! I was served by Carly and John and they were excellent, especially John! We had:
Honeymoon Phase
Vodka Martini
Tinned Fish
Market Crudo
Campanelle
Honey Lacquered Duck
Steamed Black Bass
Delicious food! My favorite was the duck! All in all we had an amazing experience!
Food, drinks and service were great! We went on a Friday night with no reservation and it was busy but was still able to get a table for two with no wait. The pork belly appetizer was amazing, very juicy and crispy. I got the campanelle vodka sauce pasta and it had a nice spice kick. Overall nice ambiance too, would recommend
Drinks were superb! Seafood was delicious. Bartenders were knowledgeable, helpful, and patient while we decided.

Waited an HOUR for 4 simple dishes for brunch, a big salad, smash burger, lobster roll, and gazpacho. the gazpacho was ridiculously small, there was only enough soup to fill a coffee creamer pot, and the diced cucumber that came with it was so little, and so small, like they just chopped up one slice of cucumber. it also came with deep fried avocado which was bland and soggy. the grilled chicken that came with the big salad was really bitter and dry. it was like eating car tires. the burger came with potato chips that tasted like they were from a bagged miss Vickie's, or cape cod. Never eating here again. the food is really really horrible for such a price.

We've been waiting for 45 mins for brunch. Still waiting now. The salad is not very edible.

My burger was delicious and huge!
Super juicy and delightful
Went to dinner here and won’t be going back. If this system would let me leave 0 stars then I would. The restaurant was extremely loud, the portions very small especially the pasta truffle dish which was expensive. The worst part was there was a discrepancy with the amount charged to my card when I got the credit card statement. I was told to email the owner my copy of the receipt. I emailed him 4 x and left 3 voice mails and he never responded. This is just bad business.

We stopped by for happy hour and sat at the bar. We had one of the best burgers we've ever had in the U.S. The host and bartenders were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for a happy hour or nice dinner in Summit!
