Ordered a spicy spider roll and a spicy girl roll
Both rolls were horrible
By far the worst sushi spot I’ve experienced
Also the service was horrible I asked for extra soy sauce the lady became upset and said I already had two and walked away while mumbling something in her language
$40 and a horrible experience I will not return

Taka Sushi in Summit is a 5-star gem for sushi newbies like me! Their miso soup is warm and balanced, Bento box offers great variety with tempura, California rolls, and a fresh side salad—the ginger dressing is very good, tangy and light. Loved the creamy avocado roll and fresh tuna tartar. Beginner-friendly service, fresh flavors—can't wait to return!!!!

Used to be good. Went there with family visiting from out of state. Waitresses were surly and sushi has taken a turn for the worse. They need new personnel to get back to where they used to be 🍣

Shortly after eating taka a few hours later in am
I woke up projectile throwing up all the food.
With all food poisoning symptoms.
I’m so sad :( fish and chips was fishy and so was Kanni salad. 2 stars because service was great. Ppl do love taka tho but I think it got me sick cuz this never happens to me.

I dined her the other night around 7 pm with a party of 7. Overall the food was excellent, service was acceptable, and the atmosphere felt comfortable. I was pleased to see the family photos in the entryway, as it gave the establishment a feeling of warmth and welcoming. The dinner menu is typical of what I’ve come to expect at any sushi restaurant, however I was surprised to see that they did not have any special roll combos as part of dinner. This did not take away from the quality of the food or the dining experience but just something that stuck out to me.

Their sushi was fine to good. Their shrimp teriyaki was inedible. I told them but they didn't care. I should have known when we walked in for dinner at 6:45pm and the entire restaurant was empty (for the duration of our entire meal).

For $8 per regular roll, I didn’t expect halfnaked rolls.. Ordered 2 rolls and an appetizer. The two rolls came looking a size of one due to seriously lacking rice.
Quality of fish was just mediocre too. So not sure what the angle is.

We always order via door dash but two months ago we had a piece of hair in one of our hand rolls. I told them nicely and told them we really love their sushi so to please be careful. Today I received some white fuzz amongst the meat of my salmon hand roll. I took that part of it to show them but all the lady said was that they were off and on break. I called her if she wanted me to leave the container for them to show their management but she just chucked it on the side and said no, so I took it back. Little upset that she did not take this seriously after I told her that this is the second time this has happened.
