Five stars for the coffee, service and atmosphere. All three are consistently great. My husband and I drive forty minutes to get here. Enjoy sitting outside; when finished with our cup of java, love to take a walk to the beach located at the end of the block. No matter how busy they get during the summer, the wait is never too long. Some of our favorites: Java chip (great flavor), cappuccino, chai latte, cafe mocha (hot and cold) and iced coffee. A few bakery items; light and healthy lunch options are available as well.

Don't buy smoothies from them. Its $8 for a small one. Then all what they do is pour juice from the box and add ice. I saw them make it. So sweet that I chocked. No fruit or anything. Just concentrated juice from a box. So disappointed 😞

Definitely gets crowded but most people seem to come and go, so seating wasn’t an issue. Great coffee and good for a quick, simple breakfast before hitting the beach.

Iced salted caramel latte is fantastic!! They have an express bar for quick drink order or full service for food. Plenty of seating options indoor and outdoor! Pretty busy but it’s a pretty quick wait.

Excellent coffee OK bagels really nice staff really nice inside but very crowded. So get there early or the Express bar which could use some decaf but overall great coffee and worth the trip almost as good as local.

I really love the flavored coffee beans here, they're a nice treat to have in the morning coffee rotation. The other menus items they have are good too (I'll occasionally get lattes, cold brew, etc and never disappointed). Atmosphere inside is nice and open, you can sit and enjoy a coffee + conversation without being crammed next to other people. Anytime I'm visiting LBI I like stopping by here. I have to dock a star though, for the fact that the bags of beans don't tell you when they were roasted, nor the origin of the beans (outside of maybe the 1 or 2 single origin options). They write the date they were bagged, but even the larger sacks that they are bagging them from don't contain roast date. Can't really be a respectable 5-star coffee spot without supplying roast date and bean origin to your customers.

I have to say, this place has come a long way and it is top-tier. I have been local to LBI for decades and finding a good coffee shop hasn’t always been easy. How ya Brewin serves as the perfect meeting place to gather with family, friends, or even solo. They have premium coffee and sell subscription cups to refill for a discount. The food is very good as well we enjoy their breakfast sandwiches and lunch options. Great business, great environment, a must stop if you are on the island.

Great coffee, the staff is fast and efficient. It’s always a little packed even during the week in the summer so ordering ahead will save you some time but if not, no worries!! You’ll get your yummy coffee pretty fast regardless

Coffee is really fantastic, so many coffee places don't make good coffee but the beans and the drinks are excellent. And they make great food! Sandwiches are super tasty.

Great coffee shop. My operational complaint is that drip coffee and cold brew isn’t served immediately here, you’re stuck in the queue behind all the lattes and specialty drinks. Waiting 10 minutes for a black coffee is a drag.

How You Brewin' is a stellar spot that never pours a bad cup. My family and I swing by for coffee every time we’re on the island, and it’s been a consistently awesome experience for years. The brews are top-tier, and the vibe’s always on point—LBI’s caffeine haven done right.
