Our food here was very good, which is the most important thing. We went on Mexican night (not intentionally) so we received chips and salsa. Sort of strange to have this before ordering a pork chop and a pasta dish. It was also Trivia night which was pretty load since we were near the bar.
Had the stuffed shrimp. It came with salad, choice of potato and vegetables. I had it with the Spanish street corn and mashed potatoes. The street corn was so good! Shrimp was big and the crab meat had a kick to it. Also ordered the apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. All was good and service was really kind and friendly.
Stumbled upon The Lamp Post Inn after a trip to Mountain Creek and was so pleasantly surprised that my out of state friends have changed opinions about the full state of NJ. 😂 Food was wildly good, prices reasonable, and the server we had was great. The homemade dressings were insanely good and you can tell everything is fresh. Immediate add to my favorites and hope I can make the trip back from NYC soon!
