We have been patrons for years but this was our first take-out since the restaurant changed hands. The dough of the pizza tasted different...a little less flavorful...than before. There were only 2-3 pieces of pepperoni per slice (we ordered a large pizza) and the extra sauce that we ordered and paid for was omitted.
I used the private room for my husband's surprise birthday party with 52 people. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. The lead server, Kammy, was one of the best ever! She and the team were on point with drinks and made my guests feel comfortable. The owner was very accommodating and easy to reach. Overall, the event was a total success and I highly recommend this restaurant.
We have been going to the Lamp Post for years. Yes there have been times when the bartender/wait staff have disappeared. We have a friend (Ed) who makes the pizza and it is a home run everytime he makes our pizza. They do have other menu items that are very good. We have had a bad meal recently only once, and I believe it was during the transition of changing owners. We had the pleasure of meeting the new owner (Brian) the other day and I think once he works out the kinks,...
