We have been going to the Lamp Post for years. Yes there have been times when the bartender/wait staff have disappeared. Food was so so. Wasn't bad wasnt good. We sat down right away. And about 15mins later a table of 7 sat behind us. They all got there food before us. Seems like theres favorites maybe. We were a table of 2. The waitress wasn't exactly the nicest. But wasnt rude either. The heat in the place is a joke. They have electric heaters everywhere. And still wasnt warm whatsoever. The silverware is that of a dollar store. Yet we had a 212 dollar bill for 2. Like I said its not...
My husband and I live near the Lamppost and have for the past 25 years. We have always frequented the place as our local spot. But recently the food and service has really improved! I cannot tell you how wonderful we were treated there tonight. If you haven't tried it in a while try it again for the first time. We introduced ourselves to Brian the new owner and wished him the best of luck......he seems like a hard worker and very dedicated to making his own success! Good...
