This place is usually great but I just ordered food from here that arrived in such poor condition, whoever is in the kitchen really did not care. I don't trust this at all and won't be returning. I honestly have never received food from anywhere like this. I am so concerned for whoever is on staff today. This is absurd.

Very dirty, they need to pay more attention to cleaning. I could just imagine how dirty the kitchen is. Food wiped in to seats and grease on floor. After mentioning it was never cleaned Will not return.

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose the Sussex Sit n' Chat Diner for Wantage, our 132nd town.
We stopped by for a late breakfast on a crisp fall day before headed to Vernon to ride the ski lift at Mountain Creek for the foliage.
The classic Jersey diner was bustling. Service great, and prices very reasonable. We enjoyed avocado toast with lox and French toast.
Wantage is home to Jersey's only VOLCANO! Rutan Hill is an extinct volcano that was last active 440 million years ago.

I love walking across from my dealership for breakfast while my car is being serviced. I tried a delicious choice that was delicious and a large portion. I have been dining there even before I purchased my car at Franklin Sussex Auto Mall.

Went for breakfast and spent more time waving the flies off the food than eating. Son order sausage, brought bacon instead. Eggs Benedict were overcooked and English muffin not toasted.

I used to go here all the time but, lately I’ve gotten the chicken parm and it has been 2 thin burnt cutlets with not marinara but vodka sauce? Like what?? Also every time I walk in the lights are off now. The servers were nice of course but this place sincerely went downhill. Rootin for yall

The food was great! The waitress we had was very nice and moved very quick atound the place, refilling coffee and oj fast. The pancakes are ginormous compared to im used to and taste very good, I would recommend.
